September Trip - Info package recieved?

My ME tags arrived two weeks ago and my vouchers arrived today. We are arriving at the end of August 2008 - free dining promotion.

But no 5x7 photo voucher. When I enquired, I was told if you booked free dining you don't get the 5x7 photo voucher.

When should I expect to get my tickets. I leave on Sept 13th.

I booked everything through them. This is the second time I have done it. Last year I didn't have a problem. I got the last of my stuff today. Over a month after I made my final payment.

Have you not gotten your airline tickets? Those should have came when you made your first payment as you have to pay for your airline tickets in full at the time of booking.

Disney waits until 45 day prior to your trip to mail out your luggage tags for the airline and the luggage tags they give you to keep.

Your luggage stickers for the airline will come UPS and the other stuff comes USPS (united states postal service) and for some reason it gets held up at the border. My stuff was mailed on July 22 and came today Aug 7th.

Also the cost of the CD for the photo pass is I think around $130 but I over heard a women last year say she prepaid for it before her trip and got it for $100. I think I am going to try and find out more about that was well.

We did not have to pay for our airfare immediately because it is refundable. I made my final payment July 15th. I received my vouchers for hotel and a sheet showing our flight info but no tickets about a week later. If I do not get them this week I guess I will call.

You got lucky. I have always had to pay for my plane tickets right away with Disney. I am surprised at how long it is taking for your tickets to come in. I would call them this week if you don't have them. The plane tickets come in the mail so if mail is being held up at the border I would demand that they send them via UPS.

I have seen Canadian's post before that they didn't get the whole package until they arrived at their resort. I'm anxious too, but we don't leave until the end of September.

CD photopass if ordered of the web is $100 vs $130 when ordered in the park. There are a few threads here were groups get together and share the cost of the cd. We did this last year and paid $22.50 we had over 600 photos. We are do this again with a group of Canadians.
There is no limit to the amount of photo on CD so our group last year had well over 1200 photos.

Everytime I have been to WDW, the ME stuff has always arrived by UPS. However, now that I rack my brain, I can't remember about the vouchers and tags ... I know that my receipts and package confirmations are always regular mail. Maybe someone who has recently received their vouchers can answer this?

Thanks for the info. I am going to call and find out about the 5x7. I was looking at the photo pass website last night and it said the CD was $124 I guess $24 isn't much but nice to save a little. We really didn't have alot of pictures last year when we went but this year we will get more no that we know more about it.

I just got off the phone and the 5x7 photo voucher is only if you book online. She said it was a little something extra they give for booking online.

Do you still need to purchase the CD? Or do you just bring your photo pass card and select a photo from it to get your free 5x7 photo.

You ONLY get the 5x7 voucher IF you (or your TA) booked your MYW package on-line...

the vouchers are sent by regular mail and will take longer. I got my ME two weeks ago and just got my vouchers yesterday.

This is new for them. Last year everything came in the mail but with the mail being held at the border the important stuff now comes by UPS.

Last year I got everything in the mail not UPS. When I called I was also told that this was new for them. Sorry for giving the wrong info. Just going by my experience and what I was told.

I paid it off a few days early as I was getting worried. My TA didn't book the airfare, so do I need to give her the information so we can use ME? She knows we are flying AirTran, but I don't think she has the flight info.

I think that either she could call in your flight info to Disney, or that you could. Disney needs your Airline, and flight #'s for ME, in order to get your luggage and give you your ME tickets to get on the bus. It is also important so when you go to the airport on ME they know when to take you depending on your departure time.... HTH
