Hello, I was thinking of changing my October Dates to September 3- 10th instead. Has anyone visited during these dates. I know it is Labor day weekend but I can't imagine it being that crowded. I was worried about weather though and how hot it will be compared to October 4-12. The October week sounds like it will be too crowded with Fall break, Columbus day, Convention at epcot resorts, and Halloween Party. Any sugeestions on Whether I should switch dates?

It will be hotter, maybe lower crowds. Either week have a great vacation.

IMHO I would leave it in October, even if the crowds are a little higher - we always drive over for Labor Day and September is soooo hot even though we are used to it! My DH loves the heat, but I get a little worn out by it, especially with all the walking at Disney :teeth:

Also, September 10 is peak hurricane season, and September usually has more rain than October - but I guess I just love October down here more  !

Just my opinion, have a wonderful trip whichever you decide! :thumbsup2

We were there a little later in September 2005 and had lots of rain and it was GREAT!!! The crowds were nonexistent!! The CMs said the week after Labor Day week is probably the slowest all year. The day we left the sun came out and it was pretty brutal, but I would rather be a little hot than fight the crowds. October has become increasingly more crowded and I find that to be much more draining than being a little hot.

The weather in October is usually beautiful, so whichever you choose, have a wonderful vacation!!

We went "home" the last week of September, last fall. It was brutal for us- being from the north and not used to that much heat. I would say keep the October definitely, unless you are use to the heat.

We are from NJ so we don't like humidity too much, but now we live in TN and it gets pretty hot here in spring and summer but we still have seasons too. Definately like the north better overall. I might stick with October because I don't want my DC to swelter. Thanks!

We always go the week after labor day. It is very hot...and the chance of a hurricane is always there. BUT the low crowds make it totally worth it to me. I enjoy being able to walk onto the rides...and the less time you spend in line, the more time you can cool off in the pool :)

DH and I spent our Honeymoon at Disney last September and the weather was perfect.....not to hot....we couldn't have asked for better weather......we are going again this September, hoping it will be as nice....we know it's gonna be HOT :sunny: for our May trip!

I was there last September for Labor Day week. It was hot!!! :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: I believe it was over 90 every day we were there. We welcomed the rain. I think it only rained a couple of times, though.

The parks were empty, can't beat that :cool1:

I've been during September twice. Both times mid-to-late Sept. It's always been hot....mid 80's to mid 90's and usually it rains just about every day. I think you will see more crowds in early Oct vs Sept. We found the crowds just about non-existant during Sept.

I, personally, love the heat. I think you'll feel a bit more humidity during Sept as well.

We were at WDW once in September, and it was so hot, I felt like my skin was going to start sizzling. Owww! But I love the heat. :teeth:

Hi We were at WDW this past Sept. 23 for a week. It was SO HOT!!!
I have been to WDW twice in the end of Sept., never so hot as this time.
But it was empty in the parks. The longest line we waited in was for dumbo :dumbo: 45 mins. Every other ride we walked on, or waited 5 min at the most.

We always go in September and yes the heat gets you (I'm from the UK, our sun is almost non existent lol) but I loved the heat and the fact the crowds were so low. We get a few rainy days but I love it and will keep going at that time!
