September parks closing early?

I have the most perfect trip all planned for May but my husband's job has changed and we might have to postpone our trip until the fall...

I'm looking at September but I remember thinking that the parks close much earlier that month. Can anyone refresh my memory?

It's not even worth planning the parks for September yet. I did this last year and by the time I got everything set (reservations, fp+, halloween party) hours changed on almost every day for the parks and extra magic hours and then I was forced to change my plans

I'd wait till later, check back in two or three months

Less planning is required in september, too. I've been able to get on less than a week's notice every restaurant except BOG or cindy's. I've never had to use fastpasses any trip in september, either.
