Weather wise which is better? If we went in Setember it would most likely be the day after labor day. My mom is worried that September would still be too hot. I am just wanting the lightest crowds possible.

well its got to be one or the other...hot vs crowds....your mom would be right about going in sept because it will be hot AND only being one day after labor day it will potentially still be crowded...Oct. your going to find the weather is nicer..its cool in the am and gets warm in the afternoon and then cools down around 5ish or so...pretty much any time in Oct. anymore its fairly crowded...So Cal select APrs are only blocked out on sat. and sundays in sept and oct. and so cal aprs are only blocked out on saturdays...personally i would go with oct....all the halloween decorations will be out...sept tends to not have as many crowds but you will get some hot weather for sure....however, that being said, with the newly reopened DCA and CL...all that may be thrown out the window this year anyway

disneegrl said it. You can't have it both ways. The day after Labor Day will be very low on crowds. Just so you know that is one of the biggest days for refurbs to happen so expect lots of rides and maybe some shows to be down.

Haunted Mansion will close around labor day for about 2 weeks for the nightmare before christmas overlay.

Space mountain will close in early sept for 3-5 days for the Ghost Galaxy overlay.

Exact dates for the overlay installations are not known at this time.

Other than these two, what will go down for refurb is not known yet.
The Disneyland Resort does not post the refurb schedule very far in advance.

Well, we need to define "low". Typically that week is dead. And I would say it will be as low as you will see for the rest of 2012. What say you?
