That means I am going to WDW THIS MONTH!!!

DH and I have been planning this trip since February 2001. it was initially supposed to be for May of this year, but got pushed back to September. It has been so far away for so long, it almost didn't seem real. But as time approaches I am getting SOO EXCITED! I have only been to the MK before, and DH has never been at all.

Congrats!!! We've been planning since Feb, too! We were supposed to be on the DCL for the first part of our trip, but it didn't work out for us. (always next year, can't wait for that tax check! LOL) I can't believe we only have 12 days until we go. Actually, DS and I are starting our WDW early..........we are going to Indy to see Off Kilter the day before we leave!!!! There is an Irish Fest going on starting the 13th and they have a kids day from 10am until 5pm, then Off Kilter is supposed to take the stage at 6:45. We'll get home around 11pm, sleep and get up to drive right back down to Indy with DH for our vacation. I can't wait!!!

Like 4greatboys said, wear your lime green ribbons........maybe we'll cross paths.

I know how you feel, we've been planning since last year and finally get to leave for WDW in a few weeks!!!!! Have a great vacation!

Dallas, Have a wonderful time!! I hadn't been to the World since I was 12 and had the wonderful opportunity to bring my DH about 8 yrs ago. He had never been! There is nothing like the first experience!! MyDH was so thrilled, we started going twice a year. DH is the "frugal " one in the family while I'm the spender BUT he was the one that talked me into buying into DVC. Be forwarned . Have a wonderful trip!

Seems like it takes forever, then it's here. Just wanted to say, you won't be alone. That weekend is the BIG Pin Event weekend at EPCOT. Most of us have been waiting all year for this. Thousands of us arriving at EPCOT for a 3 day event. Runing around world showcase for a map pin pursuit for 3 days and all meeting at the "Millennium Village" (I think they call is the World Showcase Village now). Stop by and take a look. It's open to the public after noon on Friday. (Private function friday morning.)

I know exactly how you feel, my husband and I have been planning our trip since 5/01 and I've been excited ever since! I haven't been to WDW since the first summer it opened, way back in 1971 eek, am I really that old?) so I'm sure to be surprised! Have a fabulous time & tell us all about it when you return.

I can't even tell you how much it means to have our trip to WDW to look forward to after dropping out 2 kids off at college this weekend . It's our first trip alone to WDW after 7 with the kids and we'll be there on our anniversay as an added bonus.

I am so excited we leave on the 27th of Sept. We have never been and we are staying at the Poly. We will be there six days and five nights. Can anyone tell me some things to do.

I am heading to DW in October and I just counted the days it is only 35 days till we check in. WOOHOO!!! We are going with just my son who seems to be enjoying being an only child now that his sister is away at college. I think it will be fun but I am really going to miss my DD. I think that when we are empty nesters we will do much like Steve and celebrate our anniversary there. I am trying to get more excited about going I just am so sad the DD won't be there. I guess I am still adjusting to her growing up.

I can't believe how it's snuck up on us. My fiancee has only been to Disney once before and that was a whirlwind 4 days in 2000. He barely saw anything. Now after scrimping, saving and planning since last August we'll be there in less than 20 days!!!
