We are trying to figure out when to go since we aren't doing our normal December trip. Sounds like October is too busy for us so what about Sept? Myabe mid-late Sept...anything going on that would be it horrible with crowds?

September is a great time to go. Once everyone heads back to school the parks get really nice. Also the weather is still good. As you get closer to the end of the month and Halloweentime, the crowds start to pick up but Sept. is a really nice time to go. Lucky for me DD9 is offtrack then. :goodvibes

We love it when we went during September! We arrived on the Friday after Labor Day and stayed through the next week. Even with arriving on a Friday night, we practically walked on most of the rides that evening. The longest wait was about 10 mins. for some of the most popular ones. It was amazing and it spoiled me competely!...LOL :)

I have heard that september is a great time to visit! :) Good weather, low crowds :)

Wow, huge difference in Sept. vs. Oct. It's been a few years since we have gone in Sept so I didn't know what to expect. I am thinking we will stray from October all together. Thanks everyone. Plus if we can go in Sept, we can take advantage of the great offers at the DLH 5 for 3!

we were there the last 2 days of september last year (a monday and a tuesday), and although the crowds weren't awful, the parks were still a lot more crowded than i expected. the lines for splash and space mountain were 90 minutes. GRR was 45 minutes, soarin' was over an hour, etc. fortunately, we used fast passes where we could and that helped a lot.

I think someone mentioned that the end of sept is a break for local schools so it'll be busy! But as long as you go mid sept you should be fine. Remember that the disney convention is through the 14th :)

through the 14th...so when is the 1st day of the convention?? we're also looking at a september visit...

Good to know, we nailed doan some tentative dates last night Sept 15-20. SOunds like those dates should be ok...thoughts?

October and September are actually okay. Figure everyone goes in the summer and people start school is september, so crowds die down :)

The Haunted Mansion 40th event is Sept 9th and the D23 expo is Sept 10 - 13th so it might be a little more busy that week.

Hmm. We just decided to push back our trip from May to Sept. to do some more planning and to save some more money. We we're planning on being at the park on the 10th and 11th. Would these days still be ok?

We've been in Sept. before and loved it so much we are going back this Sept. But, we were scheduled to be there during HM 40th and D23 and decided to push our trip back another week. HoJo still had their Ent. rate available for the next week - so we just rearranged. :lovestruc

I could have written your post -- we are doing the same thing! :goodvibes
