September Hours Keep Getting Tweeked!

Well, just a few days ago, I was quite upset because AK hours had been removed from the Disney site, and Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon were going to each be closed two days a week. Now Disney is tweeking the hours again.

First, they have added Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks for Monday's and Wednesday's throughout September. To accomodate the fireworks, MK is open to 8PM on Wednesday's now.

They have also adjusted the days that the water parks will be closed. NOw, Blizzard Beach will be open on Saturday the 20th. Also, Typhoon Lagoon will be open on Sunday and Monday the 28th & 29th.

So.... for those of us that are going in the next couple of weeks.... stay tuned... the hours may change again tomorrow.

OH no, I just finished changing my plans from last week's changes, now I have to do it again??? For you folks going in October (that's me too) I hope you're watching these last minute adjustments and stay tune.

Just checked the schedule, since we're going 9/23-30th. They are doing SpectroMagic twice on Sat the 27th - 8pm and 10pm.

Proabably a week or so before the schedules are to be released, so they can print them.

I am not sure if they have ever changed them DURING the week, but you never know. It would be a waste of money on printing.

I know from experience that they have changed the schedule from the printed schedule. IN 1997 -Sept- all of the printed material when we arrived had only one Electric Light parade scheduled on Sat. They added another, unbeknowst to us. Wish we would have known. Lesson learned - we always check with guest services that day for any changes.

Good point, and now that Maps and Schedules are printed separately, it is less of a monetary loss to change last minute.

Ooooh! I wish they would add a mid-week Spectro! I wonder what the chances of that are? They did add one when we were there last Dec., so maybe there's hope!

We are driving and arriving on Sat the 27th. I was worried that we may miss the 8pm spectromagic because of unknown delays such as traffic, checking in delays, etc... Now that they added a 10 pm parade, I can relax a little. I really wanted to see this just once and Sat was the only day of the week they have it. Thanks for the post, you made my day.
I too have revised my schedule due to the hours and I am not sure what to think about the crowds. We will see in 20 days!!
