September Fireworks Question

According to the historical hours found at wdwinfo, last year there were no fireworks the weekend after labor day. Can anyone confirm that there were indeed no fireworks that weekend as they transitioned from Magical to RDTC? Or is that just an accidental omission?

Specifically, I'm looking here - http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/park-hours.cfm?month=9&year=2010

Which shows labor day weekend (9/3-9/6) - Magical Fireworks
The following weekend (9/10-9/12) - No Fireworks
The next weekend (9/17-9/19) - RDCT Fireworks

Disneyland's calendar for September so far doesn't show anything about fireworks or Fantasmic.

Thanks!

After Labor Day DLR goes into off-season mode. So no fireworks or Fantasmic on weekdays and overall reduced entertainment.

Thanks, Hydroguy.

I understand the fireworks won't be during the weekdays, but the historical hours calendar showed that there were no fireworks on the weekend following labor day last year. Just wondering if that was true. Have you ever heard of Disneyland not scheduling fireworks on a weekend? I was thinking maybe it was because they switched over from Magical to RDCT and so they needed a weekend off to get the change made, but that still seems strange.

There were weekend fireworks in September last year, but I was not there the specific weekend you are asking about to know if they took one weekend off. We were there on September 19 (Sunday) and there were fireworks and Fantasmic.

Sorry, I just looked at your link and it shows that there were fireworks and Fantasmic on my day so my post wasn't much help.

Thanks, Hydroguy.

Ooops, sorry, my bad. :rolleyes1 If that happened it could be because of the changeover to Halloween fireworks?

It was the weekend they switched from Magical to RDCT. I had to look at MP updates from last year to figure it out.

OP, this was the only year they had that off weekend in between. I was there that weekend in 2009 and we did have fireworks, but they were keeping Magical until the new Halloween fireworks debuted (when they were shown nightly and not just for the party). I honestly don't know if they'll do it again this year or not.

Ahhh, the cobwebs are coming off. Your post reminded me why I chose to visit DLR last year over the weekend of Sept 17 - because I wanted to see RDCT which I can't anymore in the summer because of the so-called Magical fireworks. I remember now how they did not schedule fireworks on the weekend before last year.

What will happen this year? Hard to say, but the September schedule is coming out piece by piece...

So excuse my confusion, but will there likely be fireworks on Fridays and Saturdays during September, or Saturdays and Sundays? And at roughly what time?

We are driving into Anaheim around 6 or 7 pm on Sunday Sept 25th, and leaving mid morning on Friday Sept. 30th. Any chance of seeing fireworks or Fantasmic?

Normally, in the off-season, there are fireworks and Fantasmic showings Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. However, last year, there were no fireworks the first weekend after labor day. That shouldn't affect your timeframe, though.

The calendar is slowly coming out for September, but DL is painfully slow at releasing info considering this is less than 2 months away.
