September Dinner Reservations

Hi there! We are booked for our first DLP visit in early September for 4 nights staying at HNY. I called yesterday to make our dining reservations and there was only 1 restaurant open for dinner, despite DLP open until 9PM during our visit? I had wanted Walt's on our first night and had to move it to a lunch time on another day instead (also tried Auberge for dinner but that was only open for lunch too).

We have:

Auberge lunch

Chez Remy lunch
Café Mickey dinner

Walts lunch
Inventions dinner

Does anyone know why there are no restaurants open for dinner?

Its off peak in September so many restaurants are closed in the evening. Not sure if Auberge is ever open in the evening, I thought it was always lunch

Totally didn't think this through when meticulously planning our meal plan for our November trip! So is it likely we'll only be able to get dinner meals at the village and not the parks? I was so looking forward to an evening meal at Walt's. That's our plans scuppered haha!

Park restaurants are really lunch places - You've got the hotels and DV for evenings.

It really has to be high holiday season before you get a t/s in the park serving after 17.00

I've known it open but only like now through 15th August - don't know what their hours are atm this year though

Boy am I glad I found that out, saved me heaps of disappointment, I'd be pretty unhappy if I couldn't go to Walt's. Looks like we'll just have to make room in our tums for two restaurants some days!
