How will the crowds be starting the day after Labor Day and for the rest of that week?

We've gone that week or the week after for years and you see a drop in the Crowds for sure

Crowds are usually a bit lighter. But you will want to be prepared to deal with hurricanes.

Touring Plans has the crowds at 2s and 1s from the Sept 1st through the 19th. I've been the last 3 Septembers in a row (mid Sept dates) and it's been an utter delight. The longest we waited for anything was 30 mins if we didn't have FP+ and that's big-ticket stuff like Space Mountain, ToT, RnR etc... others were 10-15 minutes, even mid-day. We even did Smuggler's Run twice in a row.

Crowds are very low that week. Went in 2017 and 2018, arriving the Friday before Labor Day and staying until the Saturday or Sunday after (2017 we left a day early to flee from a hurricane). Crowds were very low and our park days were very pleasant, even if it was hot, extremely humid, and one year involved a hurricane headed our way.

What about the last week of August? Will it be busier than the week after Labor Day?

We went Labor Day weekend 2019 (arrived Wed before and left Labor Day). It was the least crowded I have ever seen at MK. It was GE opening week and Dorian was coming, so that played a large role in crowd levels...
