September 6 sailing on the Dream?? any one else but me?

Can't seem to find a meet up for the 9/6 sailing on the Dream. I booked last minute... It will be my first time on one of the new ships. Anyone else sailing besides me???

We will be on the Dream leaving the 6th of September as well. I couldn't find any comments/threads about this particular cruise except yours. With 9 days left, we still haven't received our stateroom number, so we're pretty anxious about finding out where our room will be...

We were QTY but were assigned 5528, super excited! Have you cruised DCL before?

This is our 1st Disney cruise. Our only other cruise was on Norwegian about one year ago. We love the Disney parks and thought a DCL cruise will be fun. Now we're just obsessing over the VGT stateroom assignment. I've read that assignments have happened as as late as 6 days prior to sailing so I guess I'll have to be patient a little longer. It looks like there are a few other DIS members on the cruise but it shouldn't be crowded at all. We'll probably be the luckiest cruisers on the Dream all year with way less passengers due to Labor Day and school starting

I have been on lots of DCL cruises but this will be my first on one of the new ships and my cruise mate's first DCL cruise. You will love it! I can't believe it's only a week away. We booked late and it hasn't totally hit me that we are going... It's a quick Birthday cruise for us. We are just excited to get away. We don't have much else planned on board other than Palo on Saturday night. Not sure what to do in Nassau.... Might just stay on the ship..

We will be on the Sept. 6th cruise as well! This was also a kind of a last minute thing for us as well. We will be in stateroom #7676. It'll be our 3rd Disney Cruise, we were on Wonder(DIS 2.0) and also on the Dream last year. The Dream is a spectacular ship, can't wait to get back onboard once again. It's also a birthday celebration for us as we're celebrating my wife's b'day. It'll be a great cruise, can't wait!

Excellent,! I found another person on the same cruise! I think we might be a small dis group! I am so excited! I just hope the weather holds out! Only a few more days to go. I haven't been on one of the new ships yet, so it should be fun exploring. I only wish it was longer! We are in room. 5518. Supposedly it is one of the extended verandah rooms, so I am happy to have the extra space! How many are traveling with you?

It's just my DW and myself. We were wanting bad to go on another Disney cruise, so we chose the 3 night cruise and also doing a couple days before at WDW as well as 1 day after...just to get our "fix" in. Congrats on the extended verandah room, this will be our first without a verandah as we are in an ocean view with large porthole. Can't wait! We arrive at WDW on Tuesday! Are you all staying at WDW before or after?

We are actually from Orlando, so it is just a long weekend for us to celebrate our birthdays. It is my boyfriends first Disney cruise but I have been on the Wonder and Magic more times then I can count. I am still trying to convince him that DCL will be amazing! We don't have much else planned other than Palo. I am not a big fan of Nassau so we didn't book any excursions. I am toying with treating myself to the spa that day. Can't wait! It will be here so soon! Which dining seating do you have? We have second seating...

That's awesome! That's our goal is to move down to the Orlando area. Our house here has been up for sale all year long, it actually just went under contract and we close on it at the end of the month. Once it closes, and we get some bills paid off we are looking at moving down there....maybe as soon as late next year. Already looking at some job opportunities for us down there.

We don't like Nassau either, we did book a couple's spa that day as we aren't getting off the ship that day. Can't wait till CC though, love that place. We are probably going to do some snorkeling and maybe rent some bikes as well. (We've never done the bike rental before) Hopefully your BF will fall in love with DCL. Is he a real big Disney fan like us? We've done Carnival and DCL, and they don't even compare...DCL is in another league for sure. We have the first seating (Main) for dinner. I'm working 16 hours on Monday, so tomorrow is my day to pack! Can't wait, can't believe it's almost here.

I might surprise him with the spa for his birthday.... He likes most Disney things but he is a bit worried about it being too Disney...... I told him it's all in good fun and once he is there he will get caught up in it all. But. I doubt I will be able to drag him away from the gator game on Saturday if it is still on before the main show... I am trying to remember if the bars on castaway had tv's. He is all excited to watch college game day. We are shopping tomorrow for all our stuff. Then doing laundry and getting ready to pack! So excited!

We landed today around noon, enjoyed an afternoon at DHS and now we're sitting on the boardwalk relaxing. Weather's great today, can't wait for Thursday and the sail away party for sure. Looking forward to all the great food!

Well even if it just the three of us, our cruise thread finally made two pages! Glad you had a safe flight! I have one more day at work and then it's cruise time!!! We can't wait! We are in 5528... We will probably be on deck 12 looking down for the deck party! I can almost taste the shrimp and souffle!!
