Yeah, Disney is just about the only place I will do a race longer than a 10K.

Has anyone on here been on the Dream before and done the champagne tasting? I'm curious about the price and if it's worth it (if one appreciates champagne).

I've done one of the wine tastings on the classic ships, but not a champagne one! Is this an option on a 4-nt?

It was an option on a 4 night earlier this month, so figure it will be an option on our sailing as well. Here is the most recent Personal Navigator I've been able to track down.

The last 2 days of the itinerary are switched from ours, but I couldn't imagine it being too different as far as what's offered on each day.

Looks like we will be joining all of you on this cruise! Third cruise, but first on Disney. I am SOOO excited, as it's my 40th birthday present to me (lucky DH and kids get to enjoy, too). Not quite ready to run the ToT race before the cruise, so I opted for the Happy Haunted 5K! It will be my first 5K, but I figure since I am turning 40 it is time to try something a bit out of my comfort zone . We'll end the cruise with a 5 day trip down to Boca Raton to unwind and really, really relax (as I anticipate we will be busy on the cruise!)

I was reading about the FE and would love to join if it's not too late. Cruising will be myself, DH, DS (8) DS (5), and DD (3). Waiting for travel agent to firm everything up, but we have 2 ocean views on hold on deck 2.

OK, we are officially booked! Did our online check in last night and added my family to the FE google doc! I am a planner when it comes to Disney vacations, so booking only 60 days out is last minute to me...lots to do now to be ready

Anyone have exprience with the kids club? I have two very social kiddos and one who is a bit more reserved when engaging kids his age. Hoping since Disney doesn't have kids between 3-11 separated that my shy DS(8) will enjoy the kids club more since his brother and sister are also with him. Do the CM's "play" with the kids? We've only done one other cruise with the kids and they tried the kids club, but would rather be with us (which is fine, it is a family vacation). My oldest complained that there was nothing to do if you didnt want to participate in the activity going on. Looks like Disney might be a bit more free play?? Just hoping for them to enjoy the club enough for DH and I to get a dinner alone at Palo

This is our 3rd Disney Cruise with our 2 kids, DS 9, DD 7. They absolutely LOVE the kids clubs!! They hardly ever want to come out! Maybe we can introduce our kids so they "know" someone else there. My son enjoys the computers & video games the most there, so my kids always go their separate ways. Sometimes they find other kids to play with and sometimes they just do their own thing. what i saw last year on the dream was almost like "stations", manned by a counselor. those counselors "play" or help out the kids in that station. For example, i saw a craft area, movie area, dress-up area, board game area, wii area, several computers, etc. They do have group activities, like playing on the interactive game floor, or making flubber. They do not have to participate in group activities, there is plenty of other things to do! what i thought was great was that the kids can freely walk from 1 club to the other cuz they are connected, unlike the Wonder. some GPS chip in their bracelets tell the counselors exactly where the kids are, in which club & in which area specifically. so when u go to pick them up, you can find them with no problem.

Hi all! we will be on this sailing with you.( dh, and dd 8 and myself) This will be our first Disney cruise, but we have sailed on other lines. I am trying to catch up on the previous posts, but wanted to check in and say hello. We are spending a few days prior to sailing at the parks and now are considering staying a few days after.
Hopefully I will have something intelligent to contribute once I have read all the posts, or more likely I will have more questions!

I have read all the posts! I have also signed us up for the FE. Now I will spend time preparing for that. As for the actual extender pockets I am not sure where to get them or ideas for making them.

Computers and video games! Mine is a water and sports guy too, so I've got to keep him active on the ship as well. He spent lots of time on the rock wall on our last cruise, determined to get to the top! It took him all week, but he did it the last day

Trying to decide if I should give it a go and try and make our FE or buy one from etsy.

I also had a question about the rotational dining, as I want to try and do Palo with DH one night. How does the rotational dining work and do you find out your rotation once you are on the ship? Also, does anyone have a link to recent Navigators? I would love to see them and get an idea of what our 4 nights might have in store for us!

And you find out your rotation when you get your key card. It's printed on the back. This is my first time on such a short cruise, but from what I've seen, on this itinerary, we'll dine at each restaurant once and repeat one. You also can try to change your rotation once on board. If you read the first navigator, it has some info on that.

we had talked about everyone meeting up before the sail away party. i'm just hoping it doesnt clash with the DVC get-together. Anyway, and just in case, what time are u scheduled to check-in at the port? For those of us who are checking in at the same time, maybe we could somehow distinguish ourselves & meet in the port. We have the first time slot. That is 11-11:30. I think hamm1207 said they have the same slot. Anyone else? Sometimes we do matching shirts or at least matching colors. that may help someone spot me.
