Just chiming in...we have a 9yo homeschool boy too :-) Love how many homeschoolers we have this time! Guess it's because schools are just going back and some people don't want to pull kids out for a week?

Does anyone know if milliepie still does her wonderful designs?? I seen on another post some of the things she did a couple of years ago. But, I can't PM her to find out.

I don't think our little guys are ready for an autograph book, but I think you did a great job. Did you get all of the graphics off of DisBoards?

Thanks so much! I use some designs I find on disboard and remake some. I also make some of my own. I created all of the pages so they are unique.
 
This is our first Disney cruise also (actually our first cruise ever). Post #354 has some great info on dining, movies, and getting items signed by characters. I'm planning on bringing a photo mat and autograph books to leave at guest services for signatures.

This is a great link! I second the pop up hamper suggestion. I bought a pack of 2 before we went to Disneyworld and they were so handy when I had to go down to the laundry room to wash a couple of loads. That was a 7 day vacation too so I'm assuming I'll probably wash a load on the cruise too. With 4 people those dirty clothes add up fast! :)
 
I have an idea... If you add another column to the spreadsheet people can put the date that they would like to distribute their gifts. That way if someone is doing pillow cases or autograph books they can pick the first day and if someone is doing something for pirate day the can distribute their gifts the day before or that day. This way the gifts are distributed throughout the length of the cruise and not all in a couple of days. If you don't like that idea someone can volunteer to be the groups captain and contact everyone in the group via email to pick a day. Just a suggestion.

Yes, milliepie is still sharing her awesome graphics. The thread is called Cruise Magnets and Graphics Part 7. Although it seems like she is getting a many more requests than she has time to fill them, so it is taking a while. If you need something in a hurry though she will try to get it done.

Cost will be $20 per person. DCL will assign us a private room & time for this & we'll post as soon as we have the info from them!! As Jill said, it will be on a sea day, approximately one hour, and we'll have a great time!!

Pink Boas & Tiaras are always a nice touch, but for those who are not so into pink.....we have the other option for you. We're thinking the 'Beer' graphic would be best on a TAN 'T' to keep with the theme, but if you would like pink, go for it!!!!

Well...... I know I'm late to the party, but for my part I'm not sure I can plan the day I deliver ahead of time...lol Seems like it's hard to know when the opportunity (and mood ;) ) will strike once on the cruise! But if the majority decided on that, I will make an attempt to conform!! :hippie:

We left the day to deliver FE gifts open on purpose. Someone might plan to deliver a certain day and not be able to do it. Also, they might not do events when we think they will and we might not know until we return (especially since we are the second sailing on this itinerary.) I am sure things will work out. If you want to make sure your children have something every day, maybe you could bring a few small things to put in your FE.

I would love to give a day...but not knowing when my downtime will be I couldn't commit to that. Just that I'd like to hand them as soon as I possibly can :thumbsup2

Unfortunately we might not be able to iron on tees prior to the cruise due to the wedding finishing the week before and I'm drowning in too many projects right now. Is it okay if I just wear pink and he wears tan, or are the tees something we have to do to participate? :confused3
 
@txtricia....we are bringing our nanny too. She is 19, though.

They won't be able to drink champagne together but maybe they can put in some pool time :cool1:

Kristin is fabulous and gets along with everyone. Her 18 year old cousion works for us on occassion as well so I am sure the age gap won't be an issue.

I don't think assigned days will be a good idea. Everyone wants to do it when they are not involved in other activities. Let's just let everyone pass out theirs as they choose please.

Just to clarify... anyone that wants to join in on the fun of the Champagne Beauties and the Beasts Event is welcome. If you choose not to join the tasting but would like to still join the fun, feel free to come in boas and tiaras. We want everyone to have fun with this!
