My guys will be 11 and almost 9! They are so excited as am I! This is our second cruise. Our 1st was this past March on Carnival out of Galveston. My kids loved it and never wanted to leave the kids clubs. I can only imagine how they will love the Disney clubs. That cruise was only 4 nights and totally exhausting as it was go, go, go all the time. Can't wait to sit back and relax this time.

We're from north of Dallas and will be driving in the morning of the cruise.

You are going to have a long drive! You'll definitely need to be able to sit back a relax a while on board. We're also driving in that morning, but we're half-way between Houston and Corpus Christi. I don't think we'll have a far to drive.

Howdy Y'all!

We sailed DCL for the 1st time this month on The Disney Dream and it was as wonderful as expected! We loved it so much so that we booked another cruise while onboard. We cannot believe The Magic leaves from our home state! Yippy!

Our daughter(DD) told us that she loved The Dream MORE than the WDW parks! The Magic will be a big surprise to her come next year!

One of the best things we did on The Dream was the FE. It was our 1st time to do something like that and it was arguably the highlight of our cruise. DD couldn't wait to see what treasures were waiting for us each day.

Welcome, Disneynoodle! I am so glad you are joining us. I am going to read through the posts and make a list of who is sailing, cabin numbers, children's ages. I'll probably work on it tomorrow and post what I have on here if it is something people are interested in seeing.

Wow! How awesome is that? Yes, we were extremely pleased to get a SPH. We booked a random cabin on Deck 2 and once I got back home I found a trip report here on the DisBoards about it. Previous cruisers reported it was particularly noisy being under Parrot Cay and that there was green ooze coming down one wall from the kitchen above. Luckily our TA was about to switch our cabins with only a small increase in price for the SPH cabin.

We found on The Dream that it was very convenient to be on the same floor as the Oceaneer Lab, so we're looking forward to having that again too.

Soooo....I am not booked...YET!!!

A little background, my bf and I are planning on getting married next year 99% sure it'll be Sept 22nd we had been talking about doing a short little vegas honeymoon and then taking his son to disney world Thanksgiving week 2012.

Well...for a little bit more than I was planning on us spending on our Vegas honeymoon we can go on a Disney cruise! And Galveston is about 5 hours from us!!! I am so excited!

We probably won't reserve til after the holidays...plus he's gotta freakin' propose first!


But we are about 95% sure we will be on the sept 29th trip, and would love love love to be part of the fish extender group exchange (i'm super crafty)

This will be my 2nd cruise (1st with Disney) and his 1st cruise ever! Seems like the best honeymoon to me!

Yeah this will be our Honeymoon trip and then come Thanksgiving we'll take kiddo to Disney World...2 Disney trips in less than 2 months!!
