Hi, couldn't see there was a thread yet for this cruise, so thought I'd start one.

Is anyone else on the Disney Dream 4 Night Bahamian leaving PC on Sept 23, 2012?

We are!!! We just made our reservations yesterday. There will be us, our DD, DSIL, DGS, DGS and DGD. We went last year at the same time and it was very nice...HUMID but nice...

We are going with DH, DS8 and SIL, BIL, DN13, DNiece 8.

We have booked Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah on Deck 7.

Flying over from Sydney, Australia. Spending some time in Orlando at Universal then DCL and onto WDW.

Tell me about who you are travelling with, deck and where is everyone from?

Hi Angela,

We are both staying on Deck 7 as well. DisneyDreaming Aubrey is my daughter. My husband and I are traveling with her, our SIL and our 3 grandchildren. We sailed on the Dream last year and enjoyed it although we found that it's very large in comparison to the Magic and Wonder.
We both belong to DVC and will be spending a few days before and after the cruise at WDW. We're both from Vermont, just south of the Canadian border.

Hopefully we'll get to see you onboard!

Yay I'm so glad I found this group!!! This is our first ever cruise! Just the hubby and I...celebrating our 10th anniversary! We are from Indiana...very close to Chicago!

We are staying in catergory 6B (Deluxe Oceanview w/ Verandah) Room #6180

I too am so excited to find this group!! This will be our first DCL cruise. We are so excited! It will be DH, DS(2), and I. We are staying in category 5B (hopefully room 8084.) We will be celebrating our 7th anniversary as well. It will be great getting to know everyone before our cruise!!!

Anyone decided on Naussau plans yet? We just can't decide if we want to do an port adventure or stay on the ship and relax.

Would love to hear what everyone else is thinking?

We are in the same situation as you. I am not sure what we will do. We are leaning more towards staying on since we have such a little one. On the other hand it would be nice to do something at the Atlantis. There is always next time!

We have never been before, so I want to get off just for a bit. It's just DH and I, so I was thinking we would do something simple like the pirate museum and then get back onboard. Or maybe water taxi over to Atlantis to go to the aquarium and then go back...Hmm....

It is basically a gift exchange. You hang your fish extender outside your room, and people will put little trinkets or homemade gifts in it. I've read about it on other people's trip reports and I thought it would be fun. I was hoping a veteran cruiser who had sailed and participated before would maybe organize one for our group for anyone who wanted to do it!

Are actual anniversary is August 2 and it will be 10 years. My mom couldn't take off in August to watch the kiddos for us though, so we are celebrating late.

Hello Everyone!

I am excited to say that we will be on this cruise (Sept 23, 2012)!

This will be our 3rd Cruise on the Dream We have now sailed on all 4 of the Disney Ships.

We are lucky enough to be staying Concierge level.

I have done the FE many times on past Disney Cruises, and they are a fun way to let your new friends know you are thinking of them. FE's are sort of a "secret santa" type thing... you have a list of everyone participating, and you place small (bought or homemade) gifts in their FE! I will see if I can attach a few pics of our Extender and some of the gifts we have received in the past.

This is our "homemade" FE made by myself and daughter - very NON crafty people! LOL

These are gifts we made one for one cruise: Photo albums from the $1 store, and note pads for the teens to get address's of friends, and we made a few note cards. Tied them all together and gave one per cabin.
