September 22, 2007 -- WESTERN

I'm glad Sandy has agreed to do the Muddle. I wouldn't want Mike to be disappointed. I like to dance, but I don't think that I can get my body to move like those girls in the commercials. And I don't think anyone would want me to! :rotfl:
!

I'm not sure anyone will "want" me to do it...but heck after a few Mojitos I'll be up for it ;) I LOVE Mojitos!!!:woohoo:

I will have to try these Mojito's you speak of. My sister made me one once and I do not think it tasted the way it is supposed to taste.

I have to say I am addicted to the Cape Cod Margherita's they serve.
Listed on the menu at Parrot Cay. :woohoo:

They add Grand Marnier to the mix with makes an awfully smooth margherita.
I use that recipe at home now.
:cloud9:

Opps...also ment to say...

Palo...it's totally worth going at least ONE time. Both Brunch and dinner are super. I don't think you can really go wrong with either on. Brunch has things like King Crab legs (HUGE ones), smoked salmon, various meats and cheeses, breakfast itmes (of coures) as well as a few cook to order things...and you can't forget the dessert buffet table (brunch is set up buffet style with a breakfast area, bread table, meat/cheese table and dessert table. Where the dinner has things like personal pizzas (yummy), filet mignon, fried calamari, pastas and yummy desserts...like the chocolate souffle'.

I use to think I preferred the brunch...but now I'm thinking I like the dinner better. I'm not a seafood eater...and if I remember right they did have quite a few fish dishes at brunch....but then again maybe it was just the HUGE king crab legs.

Ann...I may have to con you into getting me a couple sheets of paper also:goodvibes I've searched high and low for map paper with places were going...but have yet to find it. I've seen some in photos of lo's on an on-line gallery....so I know it's out there someplace. I suppose I could always search on line....and order on the net. :)

Sandy,
The paper is just so darn cute. I have no problem getting more. I have to be downtown tomorrow. and again on Thursday... More allergy testing:headache:
I can bring some with me on the cruise if you want to wait. ?

Hey all...It's been awhile again :confused3 We've been out of town for dd (9) surgery. Luckly everything went super smooth and she only had to stay at Childrens for a short time. :thumbsup2
Hi Sandi!

Glad to see you around and pleased your DD's surgery went well! :thumbsup2

...Parasaling.....now that's something I've considered putting on my list of "want to do's". BUT I'm still not sure if it's something I'd enjoy. Who's done it before and what would you tell someone about your experiences?? I've seen some fantastic photos from people who have done it at CC...and I think I'd just LOVE to see that view.:confused3 ...but it is high...and over lots of water...

We've booked to do a tandem parasail! TBH I'm adopting the same approach I had to Kraken at SeaWorld - don't think about it beforehand and focus on how pleased you'll be when you've done it... ;)

...The "Muddle" (aka Mojito dance)...I'm working out the kinks right now;) I should be ready to muddle with everyone once cruise time arrives. Anyone else???;)
Yeah, why not!?! I'm always happy to shake ma groove thang... :dancer:

Well, I am finally back from Arizona. I had a wonderful time. It was pretty hot. The highs ranged from 99 to 111. But it is amazing how comfortable it is in the shade with all the misters...
Welcome back, Eva! :wave2: Good to have you back and glad you had a fab time - not too long to go now... :woohoo:

Not sure I can either, but it'll be hilarious trying! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Karen you will love the para sailing. I did it on our last cruise. You can see the whole island from your ride. Just be sure that you take a waterproof camera as it will get wet.

If I tried to do the Muddle, my tummy would make the boat skip sideways through the water, like a stone thrown across a ponds surface.:lmao: Mike

Giving us a little *bump* before I head off to bed...

It's my birthday week (I'm 44 on Friday) so I'm meeting my best friend for lunch tomorrow - can't wait... :woohoo:

Karen enjoy your lunch tomorrow and have a very Happy Birthday on Friday.

Hope that everyone has a great week and I guess that it is time that we start our packing lists. Mike

Did someone say packing list??? I LOVE lists :goodvibes

I'd LOVE a couple sheets of that map paper...if it's not any trouble. ;)
Good luck on your allergy tests this week.

And Karen...Happy birthday WEEK   Have a blast at your lunch tomarrow ;)

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Thanks guys for the birthday wishes! :goodvibes

The reason I'm celebrating for the whole week is because my DH dropped the bombshell last week that he's got to be away overnight on my actual birthday! As you can imagine, I was :scared1: and :furious:

So I've planned a few girly outings to keep myself amused...

Oh no what was I to do. I looked for our thread and it was on page two.:lmao:

Well I guess we can talk more.

I am paid in full!!!
Insurance paid!!!
Airline booked!!!
Ground Transportation Set!!!
Pre-nights Lodging Set!!!

Waiting for 90 Excursion Day Booking as I am not Concierge...

What am I missing???

Are you packed?? Remember don't forget the crocks, sunblock and sunglasses! And maybe a swimsuit...shouldn't need anything else.:)

Underware...who needs those. That's just one more thing taking up extra space in the suitcase :rotfl: Space...or underware....Hmmm I'm thinking the 'space' sounds much more needed. :goodvibes

Flip Flops, swim wear, sun glasses and maybe some sunblock...that sounds like a complete packing list to me. :thumbsup2 Oh...I better throw in a sweater for dinner time ;)

Fat Cat....I'm jealous:goodvibes I still need to book transfers and pick some trip insurance:eek: . Oh...I'd better double check with my possie to make sure everyones paid in full....that deadline is comming up FAST!!!!

Anyone found any sweet deals on transfers? I'm not having much luck....from everything I've found the prices have gone threw the roof. OMG!!! One place this week quoted me $1600 for round trip transfers from WDW to the port and back  OMG!!! I had to let them know that I'd most certianly be looking else where. I also let them know there quote was WAY over board. :lmao: Our family of four paid 1/2 that for our round trip air fare from Washington State to Orlando. :confused3 Who are they kidding...$1600 for two 45 min drives

Karen, I know the big day is tomorrow. But, early

Happy Birthday!:cake:

Sorry it's early. I was afraid I might miss it. I have appointments all day long and may not get a chance to get on-line. Can you believe that your birthday will be the 3 month mark for the cruise? It is really a fluke that mine is on the 28th and we will be the same age. But I won't tell how old! :ssst:

Wow, are we talking about underwear (knickers for those of you from the UK) again? I think someone has a fixation. :rotfl:

You're in good company - my DH is hosting an off-site weekend in Hertfordshire so will be away overnight on my birthday! :sad2:

Sorry, Eva, I've already given the game away!
...It's my birthday week (I'm 44 on Friday)...
