16 days to go and I'm having my pre-trip stress about my plans. I feel this trip that I've booked too much in... usually I think the opposite.

Shows how much I know about kids names. But I also don't plan on having kids. I guess I'm just used to really generic names rather than unique ones. I should have used unique rather than less popular. lol

The funny thing is that "unique" has become the new normal, so if you walk into an average kindergarten classroom you're going to find a lot of names that weren't even really names when we were kids. The crazier thing is that there will be a few kids in the class with the same "unique" name.
I'm trying to balance "unique" with "classic." But DH is definitely leans much more towards the "classic" and "popular" side.
That said, our top choice, for if our next child is a boy, is Havoc, which we completely made up. Again, we'll see how I feel when I'm naming an actual child. Lydia was going to be Silas if she had been a boy, and Gideon was going to be Evangeline.

I almost wish I was working because it's taking FOREVER for Wednesday to come! I'm so bored it's ridiculous. At least this gives me time to work on reading the books on my kindle.

"Unique" is actually the top "U" girls name in the US right now....crazy! Around here, most popular boys names are Alex, Nick, Jake, Jonathan and Ryan. For girls its Kaitlyn, Emily, Anna, Elizabeth, Olivia. My kids know TONS of kids with these names. Ashley was super popular when my oldest was born..not so much anymore. My kids are Alex, Evan and Nina. 4 letters, keep it simple!

I broke my hand 07/21. Just got out of the cast last Wednesday and my first day back at work was today. Today FLEW by! I hope the rest of the week does the same Then I have a 3 day weekend and 3 days of work next week. 10 more days for me!!

In other news...My daughters MNSSHP costume, which I ordered from Etsy, arrived today It is sooooooooo cute! This woman did an amazing job hand-making the costume (dress). She is going to be Lela from Teen Beach Movie.

If today is any indication of how the next 10 days will go, then I'm in good shape. My boss asked me for a summary on a project we've been working on and it took me all day. I swear I blinked and now it's 4:30.

We are doing this too, we started August 1st with a different Disney movie ever night, it's been a lot of fun!
