Marblies... we got the post card from Mickey today :wizard: it was awesome. DD has been carrying it all around the house ever since. she wants to take it to Dance Class to show her teacher lol.

I took a little video of when I gave it to her. I will post it later tonight when I get home :)

Thank you so so much

That is so awesome!! I can't wait to see the video. I hope to be a fairy godmother some day!

I miss my boys being young and believing in the magic like they did when they were younger... Tweens, what can I say?

We are back from our trip :( It was an amazing time. Weather was great and the only time it really rained was when we were at the hotel taking a break so it was perfect timing (fyi for those worried about rain for their trips-before we left when I looked at the forecast it showed rain every day)
The only thing that ruined my trip a little bit was my Grandson decided to come a little early so I wasn't home to meet him right away. But on a good note, I was able to buy him some Mickey ears with his name-Caleb and of course bought his older brother Noah a pair too :)
We got home late last night and went to visit first thing this morning.

On another note, we went to Universal Studios/Island of Adventure on one day and that worked out pretty good. The ticket we bought actually allowed us early entry along with those who were resort guests at Universal. We basically walked on everything.
We also picked the right days/times to go to the Disney Parks as the longest wait we had was 15 minutes. One of the 15 minute waits was to see Mickey.

Can't wait to take my daughter, and my other daughter and her husband and my Grandsons to Disney in January :)

I gathered all our baggies of change and took it to the bank. Ended up with about $80 :). That almost covers the money i spent on the pre order photopass

Love spare change lol

We did that yesterday as well! We ended up with $161 which I was really suprised with! It probably has to do with the fact that DS hits my parents up for "more money" all the time! :rotfl: He really loves coins.. no dollars!

I'm glad you had a great trip! :yay: I totally feel you on the post-Disney trip blues though. Anymore details about your trip you'd like to share? We also had minimal rain and the forecast said we'd get a lot. I was very thankful for that. One day we did get POURED on at closing at AK. We got completely soaked, but it was actually kind of fun. It wasn't like we still had a whole day of touring in wet clothes.

You've been boo'd, L-Harper!:cool1:
disneyxo, welcome back, and happy birthday to Caleb and his family!:grouphug: I hope we get the same crowd levels next week.
I am off to bed, my BP went haywire today and my ankles look like flour bags from the swelling. Gotta get it back on track before Saturday!:scared1:

That is what is so nice about these boards, we can share in each others blues BUT we also get cheered up by other posters.
You talking about getting poured on and soaked (glad it ended up being a good thing for you) reminded me of what happened at Magic Kingdom. As my girls got older there weren't so interested in getting wet on rides so hadn't been on Splash Mountain for awhile. The friends I was with had never been on it, so we decided we should try it out. I did warn them they may get wet. One kept saying oh whats a little water. Anyhow as we were climbing up the big hill, I told her she should dunk on the way down.......well she didn't listen and she got soaked! I on the other hand got hardly wet at all. Maybe next time she will listen to me. :thumbsup2

here we are in HS after a rain shower. We had to coax a photographer out of hiding to take our picture. We were at the car stunt show and walked to the exit where we got the pic taken. We were soaked.

Super cute!

I wanted to do red with polka dots but my nail guy didn't understand what a polka dot is.... so I said with a smile "Nevermind, I will just stick with red.";)

I did paint my toes DIS green though.:lmao:
When I went and got my nails done the guy thought I was insane asking for polka dots! I showed him Minnie's dress on my Dooney, and he was all

Thanks, disneyxo! I'm fine, stressed out by one of my employees is all. We lovingly call the guy I'm training "Stoney McPothead.":rotfl2:I've only got toget through two more days of it, though!:thumbsup2 Strawberry's Mom&Dad, LOVE the pic! You both look like you're having such a good time!

I love this photo - look how happy you are :thumbsup2

There is no controlling the weather - just have to make the best of it! I had friends that spent their first trip to Disney with hurricane Faye - I felt so bad for them, but they said the CMs were fantastic!!

One more week for us! Things have been so hectic with work and the kids' schedules, I haven't done much Disney stuff - have to get organizing and packing :goodvibes

So glad to hear that!

Today is our last day here. So sad. Breakfast in bed for the girls and after we pack AK for a few hours.
Last night was MNSSHP. Sooooo many people! We staked out great spots for the 2nd parade on the curb and ate dinner there, then ran over and snagged front row for the last villians mix and mingle. We rode tons of walk on rides early and did several of our photo ops and trick or treating after 11:30, when there were no lines for candy and the dwarves were only a 15 minute wait.
The only preparty line we joined was for Flynn and whats-her-name. He didn't disappoint!

It has been an excellent trip and I want another week. Oh, remember our mousekeeper Blanca? She set up a tea party in our room with all our accessories, toys and the teapot my dd bought. Delightful!

All that is left to do now is spend our extra food credits. To our amazement, we have 10 qs meals and 15 snacks left. Cupcakes for everyone! Lots of cheap souvies! I will also purchase sandwiches for the flight home and trade out remaining meals for 3 snacks each for gifts. Heard it will work....let you know tomorrow.

I heart WDW!

Funny enough, I did the same thing with my Dooney, and he still was like :confused3....

I was really happy with the end result though! :)
