I know we are all hoping for the free dining, would be great. I have a question not sure if anyone can answer, we have purchased the discounted park tickets through the military but Disney has allowed us to stay at the resort (POFQ) with 40% discount and purchase the dining plan. Now if they do the free dining do you think they will allow us to receive it free also? I know it sounds like I am being cheap and yes trying to be budget conscious in this day and age, but free dining is so wonderful. Any thoughts? Sorry one more thing. We've been to Disney and stayed at the resorts but POFQ is a new one for us? any pros and cons? thanks for any info. My first day on here so I apologize if I am doing this wrong..

They will not allow you to "stack" discounts. Since you are already getting a discount off the room, you cannot get free dining. For the free dining packages, the room is at the rack rate then you get the dining plan at no additional cost.

Our family stayed at POFQ in Oct 2009 (I have stayed there two times previously). We loved the one bus stop and that everything is so close. The boat to Downtown Disney is also nice.

My Mom and I are staying at POFQ from September 10-13 (it's on her "bucket list"). Only two more days until I make my dining reservations.

We went to MNSSHP last yr and watched the fireworks from behind the cinderella's castle to avoid some of the crowd. We had a great view-sat on the wall near the carosel. It's alot of fun!!

You can count us in...We will be there from 9/9-9/16 and staying at CR Tower MK View ....we will be attending our very first MNSSHP and am super excited about it, we went to MVMCP last year and really liked it, so I am excited to see how the "other" party is. I also made all of my ADRs this morning and got everything I wanted at the times I wanted too Now it is onto just counting down the days....We have a trip coming up in 10 days too, so hopefully that will help me ease my craving for Disney until September comes .

Wow such a long list!!! You can add me to it... my Mother and myself will be returning to our favorite place this Sept. 5-11. We are staying at ASSp for the first time and reallllllllllly hoping that we can get our dining for free to help defray the costs.
