September 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

I currently have LeCellier in my cart for 9/3 1:45 party of 4. I realized I already have a lunch at CP and think my DS would enjoy CP more. If someone wants it, let me know in the next few and I will be happy to book it for you.

I just cancelled Crystal Palace on 9/22 for 8:15 AM - 4 Adults.

I really need Crystal Palace on 9/24 for 6 or 7 - anytime before 9:30 AM. I will trade both of these if you want them:

1900 Park Fare Dinner - 9/23 at 8:10 PM for 4
PLUS
Princess Akershus Breakfast - 9/24 at 9:40AM for a party of 7

having this year. I only have 2 that I really
want. Boma-breakfast and CRT dinner. I have
been driving myself silly with this online dining
stuff. Spending way too much time in the
process and not getting anywhere. Is this the
way things are going for others beside me? I
started on my 90 day mark at 7 AM and it has
been so unbelievable since then. I am worried
that time will run out and we will have to settle
for ????? I hope something will open soon, your
ideas please.

We have a 2pm on 9/20 for the Rose & Crown pub @ Epcot, but really are looking for something closer to 11am/12noon.

If anyone can trade we do have a 2pm ADR for there right now.

I am having the same problem with my ADRs but I'm not very worried since I didn't purchase the dining plan. I'm going to keep checking at off hours for cancellations. Do you think that the new online ADR is going to result in a high percentage of no-shows?

I am there the 26th- 3rd, which means my 45 day mark was one day ahead of yours and I also did not get hardly any of the times I wanted and a few of the restraurants. It has been disappointing, I planned this week because I thought Free dining would be over the 27th, but no such luck, it will be busy and my dining is no where I want it to be. I will make the best of it, I am in WDW and that is the most important part.

I don't know, maybe. I did the 180 day ADR
in the past with minor trouble. I don't like the
90 day ADR, glad they are going back to 180
It just seems that res. are being held back or
not available for some reason. This has been
so hard to deal with. I would imagine that the
res. CM'S are also having problems with all
the calls made, and no results. Yes, I do think
that there will be quite a few no shows and last
minute changes made.

I'm there that week also, it seems to be one of the tougher weeks to get ADRs.

Could it be because the Food & Wine Festival starts that week? I was worried about that when we booked for the week but didn't really think it would affect all the parks...

Yeah, F&W is probably a factor. It was also the latest (therefore coolest temperature) dates of the free dining offer & some kids that start school in August have an early fall break that week.

People keep repeating that with the free dining offer, the resorts & restaurants fill up but the parks are at their usual levels. Sounds right to me.

That week seems to be the busiest one for September this year... we're DVC so we are using less points. Free Dining is always offered at this time and we have never had an issue so I have NO idea why it is soooo busy!
I could NOT get anything for dinner at 4:30 on the 29th of SEptember close to or in MK for before MNSSHP... so we've decided to do lunch at WCC that day and then just get quick service or snack that evening.

Okay, I have gotten pretty much everything I wanted!! Thanks so much to Tamis for the 1900 park fare and helping me snag a Cindy's she saw online-AWESOME My DD's are on cloud 9!!

Also, I do not think it is because of a short term temporary overlap in booking why people cannot get ADR'S-It's just free dining and the parks have been pretty busy from what I am reading here on the boards. So for the pp who said that, sorry I disagree. I don't think that happens purposely and for long. I had a few overlapping today while I was scrambling and got one that I was okay with and then one I really wanted. So I also had two for a little while today before I cancelled the ones I didn't want for the ones I wanted more. That's just what happens when you are upgrading ressies. Before I cancel all the rest of the ones we will not be using, I wanted to offer them to anyone here. Let me know soon because I don't want to hold on to them now that I know I won't be using them. I pm'd some of you who put dibs on some of the ones I had. If I did not pm you, I am so sorry, someone got it ahead of you. I went first come first serve. Here is what I have left so let me know soon!
