September 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Canceled

I have an ADR for Cinderella's castle for 7:50pm on Wed 9/30. I have a 1yoDS and a 4yoDD. I made the reservation thinking it would be worth the late time for DD....but she has shown no interest when I have talked to her about it. (she's much more excited about the dinosaurs at AK than the princesses at MK )

I'm thinking the late time won't be any fun for DS, and maybe we should wait til our next trip to try for the castle at lunch.

Anyone want the reservation? I'm fairly new so not sure if this is the right protocol. I haven't called to cancel yet b/c I thought maybe someone on here would like a heads up first.

I am happy for you =) I have been trying every day three times a day to try and get that date at CM for breakfast!

Another DIS'er gave me her 7:25 am (thank you Michelle C!), but I know we will be late....they say they will hold it for 20 mins...

Anyone ever show up like an hour late? I was told they would seat me next avail in that situation??

Do they really have a breakfast bus in the am to take you to the dis hotels? None of the parks are open until 9am that day... I am not sure how we would get there...

Check with your hotel on what time the first bus runs to the MK. The contempo is a short walk or monorail from where the MK bus lets out

Yes there is a bus for the early ADR's.

Don't count on showing up late at all to any ADR's. What would be the point of making ADR's if you could come at any time you pleased. Be fair to others, if you can't make it give it up to someone who will be there. They do not have to hold your spot at all, it is totally up to the CM's at the podium.

I have also heard some people say that the character buses start at 6:30 am. I would think that would be likely to be true since there are plenty of character breakfasts that start around 7:30 am.

I also wanted to tell you - don't give up hope!!! On our last trip, I was able to get a Chef Mickey's ressie less than two weeks before we left. Check the online ADRs MULTIPLE, MUlTIPLE times a day. I mean, A LOT (if you have the ability to). You never know what might show up at any given moment. Also, a lot of people will cancel ressies in the next month and a half for any number of reasons, so I wish you luck on finding one at a better time for you.

I have just canceled 2 Crystal Palace Reservations.

Mon. Sept. 28th CP reservation for 5 at 8:05 p.m.
Wed. Sept. 30th CP reservation for 5 at 2:25 p.m. (Sorry...In the header I wrote the wrong date of the 29th.

I'm still looking for a possible Chef Mickey trade. I have a reservation on Tues. Sept. 29th at 9:10 p.m. for CM. Does anyone have a reservation between Sept. 27th and Oct. 1st they would be willing to swap. I'm open to breakfast or dinner times (Just not Tuesday evening due to MNSSHP going on that same time-frame) I also have a Cape May Cafe I could swap on Tues. May 29th at 9:25 a.m.

then I got free dining....

so now I am hunting down the ressies =) I will be at WDW, so no matter what it will be magical! I just have all these sit down meals to eat!! =)
