You'll be there at the same time as me and my DH! We'll be there Sept 13th through the 20th. Hooray!

We'll be there, first time without our kids. It's our 10th wedding anniversary!

Staying at POFQ 09/16-09/23. Stayed at Value last time,loved it but hoping for a little more romance at POFQ. Hoping to add free dining, I hear it will be announced beginning of April (if it is).

Can't wait to explore the World without toddlers/kids in tow. Looking at more rides and shows and food and less time with characters. Although we are going to book a Pooh Lunch at Crystal Palace anyways.

We'll be staying at POFQ around the same time as you! Sept 13th-20th. Maybe we'll run into eachother. Gotta keep an eye out for all those lime green mickey heads!

Going in September 2008 . Went in 2007 with free dining. Offered it again to me so I took them up on it. Crowds were low compared to April. Husband and I went without kids. Taking whole family this time in Sept. including new grandbaby. Loved it. Already planning.

We will be there for our 8th trip - my 42nd birthday, our 8th anniversary, and our DD3 - second time in the world. We will be staying at CSR, we tried POP last year but it just wasn't for us.

9/20 - 9/28 - here we come!!!

You check in the day after us and our DD is also 3! Maybe we'll see you at the dig site!

My fiancee and I will be there Sept 6 - 20th for our Disneymoon!
The 6th - 14th will be at WL, the 14th-18th on the DCL and then finally the 18th-20th at AKL! We have never been on a cruise or stayed at AKL before so we are so, so excited!!

Is it just me, or is time moving at snail speed? First we have to wait until April, to see if "Free Dining" will be offered. Then we have to wait until Sept. to actually go.

How can it only be February?

This will be our second time to the world and we are so thrilled to be going back. We will be there on September 20-27. We are also hoping for free dining. I was wondering if they do the free dining if you recieve a discount on your room. Thanks for any info Nichole

Nichole,
If they offer free dining, and you are able to rebook with the free dining, you cannot use any room discount (need to pay rack rate for the room portion), so if you were lucky enough to get a room discount, you have to calculate which saves you more money.

We'll be there for our first family trip to WDW from 9/28-10/05. We are staying at Windsor Hills.

We just booked - 7 nights at the CSR: August 30- September 6. We're so excited. Hoping to still get a code to apply, but we're happy anyway. We're celebrating DH's birthday (which is the 9th, but you gotta go when you can get the days off!). It'll be so much fun!

My husband and I are currently planning a trip in Sept 2008! I am very excited and can't wait to get everything booked, but I do have one big question! This would be my first trip in Sept...we usually do December (around Christmas-New Years)..can anyone tell me about what it is like in September?

How is the Weather? Are the parks crowded? Should we try and book for the week before labor (including labor day weekend) or should we book for the week following labor day?

I would try for the week after Labor Day. Last year I went at the end of August (came home the 28th) and then went back Sept.6-11 with my parents. I could really tell a difference in the crowd level.....less people in Sept. We've been several August's and with a good touring plan I didn't even find that bad at all. In September I took my fast pass to ride TOT and there was no one in the FP line OR the standby line until I reached the Library! It was great! That is part of the reason we are going in September this year!

Yeah I think that that makes sense. I am sure Labor Day brings a larger crowd. Thanks for the advice! This will be our first time in September...I usually go in December now that is crazy crowded! ...BUT I still love it because it is DISNEY!
