Well folks, my old friend, pneumonia is back and with a vengeance. My chest feels as if there is an elephant sitting on it. Have to hook up my machine tomorrow and get rid of it. Too much to do to falter now.
Ang, I went to see National Treasure too. My ten year old grandson is a history nut, got it from me, and he was engrossed in it. He would not even go to the bathroom, neither did I. I loved the story and the effects were fabulous. I impressed dgs with the name of the play that Lincoln was watching and with who Dr. Mudd was. Some day he will be smarter than his dgm but not just quite yet.
Pooh, that is so nice of you. I am not one bit surprised that you would do such though. Tom would have a hissie fit if I did it though. I had a grandson and a friend of his overnight last night and all day today and I am not sure he knew they were here and another friend just spent over an hour visiting and I know he did not know he was here.

I invited a family with two children into our room at the Sports in September because it was pouring to beat the band and the next day I found a beautifully colored picture with thanks on it on our door. It was very touching. You have given them and their families a wonderful memory as well as yourselves.
ANTS, are you back to normal? Now the holidays and all their unrealistic expectations are over we can get back to living our normal dysfunctional lives.
I ended up leaving the house THREE times last week. I left my cell phone number on the table with dh and went off. Usually I would have combined all my chores into one very hectic day. I took time out to have an iced tea at our new McD's. Wild woman is what I am. Next year is a major birthday and I am thinking of taking a bus trip ALONE!!!! Hey, thinking is better than nothing and far more than I have ever done before.
I am glad the reminders are coming back but I sure do have a whole lot of catching up to do.
