welcome back Linda!!
kelli... bonzi... Glenda... I am so jesalous... by the time get in to philly I have to cancel those dates! 12-11 to 12-15!
just heard via PA systym here at MCO that pre boarding is only for handicapped and unaccompanied minor. Those with kids and on A boarding pass just stay on A, those on B & C with kids stays behind the pre board aisle and they will be brought in after all the A' There's a lot of unhappy peeps right now and on top of that a lot of flight got canceled due to incliment weather right now here in Orlando.
Timmie, you are cancelling your December trip? I get confused easily ya know??I think plane should be segregated and all families with children should be seated first for everyone's comfort. Give the kiddo's a chance to examine their surroundings and get acclimated and give the unaccompanied adults a chance to have one last drink before boarding. Works for everyone!!

Have to tell you a funny story about your popcorn box. BTW, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. I am barely able to manage the simpliest of details let alone much extra so please forgive the fact that you did not get to know me back in my 'better' days. I was so busy that I did not open your popcorn box, which I found to be such a clever thing. One night when my dh got a tad bit hungry and I was too tired to go up to the food court for him he glommed onto to the box as popcorn is one of his favorite snacks. To his dismay and my delight he found it loaded with all sorts of goodies, just not the ones he was expecting. I went to sleep with a smile on my face.![]()
Pooh, I have to tell you what an indelible impression you made on me. I think you and I have much in common in that I was on my own at an early age too and in such circumstances you and I both had to come up with interesting 'career' choices as we were too young for 'real' work. I smile quietly when my children and grandchildren tell me that I am just too boring for words and have never seen anything of the real world. If only they knew. Might make THEIR hair turn white instead of mine.![]()

Pooh, I am sorry to disappoint but the worst things I ever did when I was young was to be a bartender when I was underage. Now that I reflect on it I think the local police might have known but since I did not, myself, drink they let it pass. I also worked as an editor/checker at a publishing house and as a disk jockey as well as quite a few 'under the radar' type jobs. Odd jobs since I could not get a legal job being underage. It is just that I am such a straight arrow now that those things would surprise those who know me now. I like being boring. I have had excitement and it usually is not a good thing.
Laundry all done but I took some time off yesterday to spend with my youngest grandson. We had a lovely time and it was more important than anything else.
Has anyone else gotten all caught up? If so, please do NOT tell me about it.![]()

Pooh, they say that all great comedy comes from tragedy so that is the secret to any claim to fame for being funny that I have. I tend to find the funny in most any situation and that is the only way I manage to get through each and every day. True, very true.
Being a very good typist has kept me off the streets many times. I give my mom the praise for insisting that I learn to type and do it right. Since I was a honors student and was not required to actually attend many classes I spent my time in school working in the office and learned many useful skills there. Our skills will never become obsolete. Bet you are like in me in that you like making order from chaos as well.![]()
I hope that the weather and your migraine changes. Headaches can ruin your whole day as pain in your head is not something you can ignore like you can with other body parts.
Today is my first day back at the Community Center so I have been organizing my books in preparation for our first get together of the year. I take pictures of each child and make a bookmark for each one with their info on reading level etc. Makes it easier to keep track as some kids are regulars while others come in occasionally and it is hard for me to remember it all. They love the bookmarks.
Tomorrow is weigh in and right now I have nearly a 4 pound loss from my last one. I love Disney World!!
I hope you decide to go in December and then maybe we can sit and talk more. That is my favorite thing to do, hearing folks life stories.

We always stay at the Sports since they treat us so well. We were given a remodeled room. brand spanking new, with a refrigerator near the main building this trip and did not have t o move mid ressie. The right room can make all the difference.
Tom gained 8 pounds which I would normally be thrilled about as he eats and eats and never seems to gain however with his health issues he now needs to be careful in that area. I figure that he will cut out thirds and be back down soon, I hope. I struggle for each ounce of loss myself.
Bet you get yours right off now that you are back home. I am surprised you gained anything as you do not seem to be the type to sit still for more than a minute and moving targets are harder to gain weight.![]()

Hi Guys!!!![]()
Hope everyone had a good weekend! Hey Nancy, did you put up anymore halloween decorations this weekend?????
yes infact I did. I bought a 15 piece cemetary and lights along our door way, more tombstones and Black Roses to put on the graves its kool and more cobb webbing and last but not least so far I put out scary candle holders out along the ridge of the stairs.
So how was your weekend?? Did you every get those posts dug???I am so sure your DH hates me by now.
You have to take more pictures!![]()
I went apple picking with Kellie this weekend, nope no poles went in this weekend either! Shawn's shift changed, so now he's working noon to midnight on saturdays, he's got sundays off....but god forbid should he miss a Nascar race!So I guess he's going to have to dig those final 2 holes by himself on his days off now!
Nah, he doesn't hate you, and I certainly don't, you saved me from killing my back last saturday! You would not believe the rocks we kept hitting on the last hole I helped dig....I finally gave up, or acted like I gave up...this way he finished digging it! ssshhhh don't ever tell him that I was acting!

Timmy,
Hopefully you are now home safe. Let us know how your latest trip went. Sorry to hear you had to cancel your December trip. I am still trying to get my DH to agree to drive down after Christmas but I know the crowds will not thrill him.
I can never seem to get on the Dis lately but at least lately I am getting most of the posts in my email.
Take care everyone,
Angela
