September 2007 POP'ers??? MoJiTooooOoOoOOooo!!!!

Oh...Pooh I got so excited when I read a couple pages back about a glow party at the Pop pool on the 21st. We'll be there from the 18-22 so it looks as if we'll miss all the "planned" gatherings. I guess we'll just have to see what's up at the pool when were there....Of course with Monkey in tow.

I didn't end up ordering "the" monkey...but I did manage to finally find a smaller blow-up monkey at the dollar store...So I got a few I even picked up a few lei's for them I can't wait to show up at Pop...and see monkeys everywhere

Cruise.... We're going on our third Disney Cruise on Sept 22.....the big/actual reason we won't be able to make it to the glow party on the 22nd at Pop. And we're planning our 4th cruise already LOVE them...they're SOOOO much fun. I'm happy to say it's where I had my very first Mojito...and by far the BEST one I've ever had so far.

Just popping in- ya'll chat so much and I just haven't been able to keep up with it all! I added a night to our ressies at Pop- so we'll be getting in on the 11th. Quick question- the CM wasn't the happiest CM on earth and he said he'd have to add a night as a separate ressie. Well, is our free dining plan going to cover the 11th or do I need to call and talk to another CM to find out? We'll be there the 11th through the 19th- so I'm hoping to get the 11th covered as well.

I would call to make sure. Some people just should not work for Disney if they can't be pleasant or if they are having a bad day then they should just try and fake it.

I was just thankful he wasn't my CM LAST time! Last time I called, I had an almost 2 year old screaming his little head off and following me EVERYWHERE I went (I was on my cell- trying to get away!) and the CM laughed and told me that it happens a lot- whenever Mom tries to call Disney, the kids KNOW it and start to act up!

Hi,
Unfortunatly, adding a day at this point you will not be able to get free dining with it. The free dining program ended and even if it didn't the rooms were limited and you might not have been able to get it for that night anyway. You are lucky the CM added the night as a seperate reservation because if he went and booked another package to add the night it would have voided out the free dining at this point. We went last year and added a couple of days that weren't covered with dining. You will also have to wait till the package starts on the 12th to get your MYW passes unless you have extra from a previous trip you can use which is what we did last year. If you don't have tickets you could always go to DTD and eat at Earl of Sandwich for an inexpesive meal or if you have the Planet Hollywood voucher you could try a meal there. Then there is always resort hopping to check out the different resorts. Oh yeah, make sure you let the front desk know you have a package starting the next day and ask to stay in the same room. You will have to go check back in for the package the next morning as well so you can get your new room key with your dining and tickets on it. Hopefully it all works out for you.

Ah well- that explains it at least! I just figured since it was a special that already applied that it would stretch to the extra day! Truth be told, I just wanted a few extra snack passes Hee hee- pretty bad, huh?

Who knew this could be so tricky? Only reason I booked an extra day was because we couldn't find decent plane tickets that would get us into Orlando in the morning. On our honeymoon- we arrived in Orlando around 7 AM and went straight to the parks after dropping off our stuff at the hotel. This time- we get in late and will be going straight to bed, probably. Grrr- I wonder what we'll eat though for dinner since we'll have been in the air over dinnertime.

I don't blame you on adding the extra night. Sometimes with airfare it's cheaper to fly in a day earlier and pay for the room. I was lucky and got a 7a flight arriving at 10:25 for a great price . We will just try to go to bed extra early the night before and if the first day is anything like it has been on past trips my son and I will be raring to go all day and my husband will be snoring on the bed within 5 minutes of checking into the room. lol Lucky he doesn't mind us going off on our own. TOT meet here we come on 9/13. Anyway, what time do you get in? Pop food court is open till midnight and DTD is open till 11p if you are hungry. I am sure you will find something for not a lot of money. When we had free dining last year we had half our snack credits left at the end of our stay and stocked up on snacks at DTD for people at home so you might not need the extra snacks anyway.

I can't believe we are under 2 months away and the documents will be coming withing the next few weeks.

I had to share this here because I know all you other disney nuts would understand. I had a dream about our trip last night. For some ungodly reason in this dream I left it up to my DH to pack (I would never do this in real life) anyway, when we got to the room and I opened up my suitcase all he packed for me were underwear. I was horrified. I wonder what that means in dream psychology. When I told my DH about the dream this morning he thought it was hillarious because he does always forget something in his suitcase. I told him to laugh all he wanted because if he really did that to me I would just have to buy a whole new disney wardrobe and that would still leave me with lots of room to fill up with my purchases.

We leave here on the 8th at 0630hrs our time (NL time which is 1.5hrs aheadt of EST) arriving at 1330hrs. I think we will just relax by the pool then go have supper. I will probably be leaving work for the airport so will be extra tired, especially after a busy Friday night..non stop crazy calls.
