Sept 2007 Mojito Pop Century Cell Tree​

Hi everyone !

Last year all of us Popers had a cell phone tree to use while we were there ( and before if you wanted to).

It was great fun and came in way handy. Some of us left sooner than others and would call and let the others now how busy/slow the resort parks were looking. We could text what rooms we had checked into, if we couldn't find the "party" down at the pool ect

I don't think we have anything going like this yet this year.

I am going to volunteer to start it for anyone who wants to participate. I will create the document that holds everyone's info

This WILL NOT be shared publicly here on the boards and only the people who voluteer their information will get a copy of this cell phone tree !

Hi everyone.
We made it to Colorado yesterday. Stopped and spent the night in Santa Fe and had a blast!
So.. I am driving out of Santa Fe and I notice my finger is itching really bad. I figure I got a bite on it or something. But it is driving me nuts right? Anyway, we finally get to my brother's house and my whole hand is starting to itch. As the night progresses the itching gets worse and worse and it is on both hands now. My fingers start to swell to the point where I had no knuckles and my fingers were changing colors (and not in a cool psychedelic way! ) The pain, swelling and itching gets to be outta control so I go to the ER. side bar... the thing I LOVE about small towns.... NO WAIT AT THE ER! In fact the nurses on duty actually looked excited to see me Anyway, Mandy (my SIL) and I figured it ws an allergic reaction to something, but I wanted to go get it checked out. Sure enough, it was an allergic reaction, although we don't know to what. The doc gave me some meds that were supposed to help with the swelling and gave me a script for more. We get home and finally about 1:30 or so I crash. I keep waking up in the middle of the night to rub my hands together because they hurt. Wake up this morning and my fingers are normal color but still swollen like crazy. They look like little sausages. And they still hurt. You should see me try to pick something up or type... it's quite amusing.
So anyway, that's the start to my vacation. I hope you all are having a wonderful week! I will be able to check in pretty often so get to talking to I have something to read. K... time to go attempt the shower. I think I may refrain from using the razor this morning.

Geewhiz there gal are you picking up things you shouldn't be

this is not a way to start off a vacation really now I hope things get back to normal soon wouldn't want ya to hurt yourself typing or well don't use the razor please . When I get on her later i don't want to read that you have to be taken back due to a lack of blood loss from the darn razor

good to hear you got their in one piece.... Anxiety and Stress also can express their symptoms just like an allergic reaction... I remembe ryou explained in one of your post that you were weee bit nervous driving in a day early... did they give you prednisone and more benadryl ?

Just wanted to chime in- we will be staying at Pop Sept. 28th-Oct 6th. It will be our first time at Pop, and our first time at a value- looks like so much fun! Sept can't get here soon enough!

Yesterday they put me on predisone. I feel ok, but kind of anxious. Good news is my hives are almost completely gone and I can almost put my wedding rings back on!

Morning all you wonderful people So busy & only going to get worse DS#1 turned 8 on the 3rd, parties, fireworks, DH on crutches -UGHHHHH!, housework, yardwork, yada-yada-yada.........
Anyway, I was able to book an Illuminations cruise on 9-12 , not going to be able to keep it due to conflict with LeCellier ADR . Didn't want to cancel before checking to see if anyone here might want it? Leaves at 8pm from Y&B Club, $275 & tip. Let me know if interested, will cancel by Sunday
