Very decorated window you had there. Cute. I knew someone had mentioned a dream sign and I looked for it at my $Tree --no dice. I wanted to use it for our shirts. My (well my DD's ) monkey is officially named Mickey. I think I will take some pics of him at different places along the road that look interesting. Next trip I will get a new mascot. I dont have a Home Depot anywhere near me so I improvised and made a nice big one with some cardstock I had.

Celerystalker's sounds like it was adorable. I saw a Dry erase board at $Tree too and wasnt sure if anyone did that at the resorts or not. Mainly afraid it would grow legs.

Nope - we had a dry erase board last year and it remained right where we planted it on the first say - we loved it. We had to erase it every time we came back to the room ( not before I took a picture though). We got so many messages from people all over !!

The Jet Blue prices sound great but the cost about evens out for us. We live 2+ hours from a major airport so the price of gas to there and back not to mention parking would actually cost us more.

3ppl at $150 round trip(presuming JB price is one way?????) = $450 +2 tanks of gas to drive to airport =$75 + parking (??? guessing about $25 for the week) = $550 not including food to and from the airport

I did a gas calculator for our current car(we will be driving one with better gas milage by then) at $3 a gallon and it comes out to around $400 + cost of fast food (we are bringing a cooler with stuff too) $50 + incidentals along the way (hotel if we are too tired, neat souveniers from those tacky rest stops.. , etc) another $100 = the same as above

It is a long haul from PA down but I like the convience of going when I want, arriving when I want, and not having to worry about having something I forgot I had in my purse confiscated at airport security. OK.......I ADMIT IT--I am one of those "must carry the whole household cabinets just in case" people.
PLus there is such NEATO stuff along the highways to see. And no I am not talking about the winos sleeping under the bypasses..

Good morning ladies~I loved seeing the pictures of the decorated window. I can't wait to start buying stuff for our window. So I finally made it to HD this weekend to pick up the mickey heads. DH thinks I'm an idiot Then I started telling him my decorating plans & that we had to get a dry erase bored & he asked me if I was going on this trip to meet my DIS friends or spend time with my family. HELLO?!?!?! I can do both!

Anyway, hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It's a beautiful day here so I'm hoping to get outside a couple times today for quick walks during my work breaks.

I need to find the picture of my window and put it up. We did a Halloween theme last year with lights and all. I loved it and so did the kids !!

You were wicked lit up as I recall... I found my way to your room by following the lighted window!!! Hope we all do that again this year, then it will be easy to spot us all!!!! Glad you did that, otherwise we wouldn't have met!

Very true - we NEVER had a problem finding our room - even after I had visited the Food and Wine Festival. I loved my room I'm going to go find my pictures

Here is my dry erase board. I think it is still in my suitcase - otherwise I am making another one and bringing it. Maybe I will even bring the supersize like they keep in the class rooms !!

we just got our schedule changes from the airline and I have to switch to a different carrier due to the fact they want us to leave at like 2pm on the 17th YUK I don't want to leave that early we have things planned all day: I don't like airlines.

Good Morning...I am getting excited. My sister called last night and really wanted to go, so I called and there was room at PoP so she's in and so is my dad. This will be our very first vacation without my mom , so I'm gald my sister and my dad are able to come now. I think the time will fly, especially through the summer.
