Are you wearing a costume???

I am so sad - my vacation is sandwiched in between 2 MNSSHPs. I guess I will just have to go back next year!!!!!

Are you dressing up? I never dress up, but it might be fun to do.
Yes, Lori and I are dressing up. Unless she bails on me! We are going to be teeny bopper fans from the 80's! Krimped hair, New kids shirts and all! At least that's the plan as of now! I was hoping I could get Ry to dress up like Joe (my first love) but I don't think anyone would get it but us! ;)

That is my window from last year. I did a halloween theme. This year I am not doing a theme.. just a potpourri of Disney stuff I have accumulated. I am bringing the Dream sign from dollartree, and a few see through placemats with disney stuff on them... that and some monkey I need to name him, and some mickey paint chips.

Last year lots of people had lots of great windows. There were lots of Pirate themes... and I remember Celerystalker's window was great... she had stapled a million mickey heads onto tulle and hung it in the window, so it looked like all these mickey heads suspended in the window.. I am also putting a dry erase board on my door, and note paper and magnets... because I know that you all will visit me and want to know where I am.....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ohhhh your window was so darn cute! I didn't have time to go look at windowns, but I want to this year! I think I am leaving window decorating up to Lori. Although I did get a ton of Mickey Heads cut out. Did you request 70s building??? I know I did! I LOVED that location last year!

That is such a cute idea...I'm not sure if I'm up to the whole dressing up thing. I know my daughter will. I'm still thinking about it.

Hi~ I haven't been online much at all this weekend. Nothing too exciting happened around here though. It was supposed to be really warm today & so we had plans to go & hang out outside, but then it got overcast & a lot cooler then we had expected. Oh well :(

Anyway, I sent a couple of you myspace friend requests. I'm on there everyday :) Feel free to add me for those of you I missed. www.myspace.com/beckywhite25

Have a great evening.

Oh yeah, I'm trying to convince DH to dress up for MNSSHP but I don't think he'll go for it. DS will definitely have a costume though, we just haven't figured out what yet.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. its been kind of busy around here trying to get my lawn done before the rain comes.

I have gotten some items for the gift bags and I wanted to post this for everyone that with trying to buy a gift bag for 44 people its a little to expensive so if no one minds I am going to give a gift bag per family this way I can make them a lot nicer. If anyone thinks thats a bad idea or has another idea please pm. I found these cool neon canvas tote bags and thought they would be great to use.

Very decorated window you had there. Cute. I knew someone had mentioned a dream sign and I looked for it at my $Tree --no dice. I wanted to use it for our shirts. My (well my DD's ) monkey is officially named Mickey. I think I will take some pics of him at different places along the road that look interesting. Next trip I will get a new mascot. I dont have a Home Depot anywhere near me so I improvised and made a nice big one with some cardstock I had.

Celerystalker's sounds like it was adorable. I saw a Dry erase board at $Tree too and wasnt sure if anyone did that at the resorts or not. Mainly afraid it would grow legs.:tiptoe:

SSSHHHHHH!!!! It's a secret!!!!!! We already have way too many people for seating......anything over 25 and there are no tables and chairs...;)

OK, here is the monkey bag list: (my monkey bag list... there is another list that Tia is taking care of!)

I still have to go to one more store, so they are not in the mail yet....I will probably wait until after my trip to WDW in May to send them, in case I come up with something from there too!!!!

No, No, No.... no money! This is just a treat for everyone. Now, of course if you see me at a meet and my margarita is getting low.... I won't turn down a refill! ;) Just kidding!!!! Really, I just wanted to do it for my DISbuddies as my DD calls you guys!

Well seeing that we are driving down, and I will be bringing my alcohol from home (quick trip to NH before we leave) then I will definately have no problem filling your margarita glass if I see it running low! :thumbsup2

Did you request 70s building??? I know I did! I LOVED that location last year![/COLOR]

Last year I only requested "close to classic hall" and "connecting rooms". This year I have requested Lake View as the most important request. Last year, nobody saw my window because we had the worst room on property!!!! Right behind those dancing people. You could not see our window AT ALL unless you were on our floor walking by it!

Donna said my request didn't jive with yours, so I can't get in on your Grand Gathering... you guys have 70's B building requested which is an awesome building close to the busses and Classic Hall, but I need that relaxing view to feel truly on vacation.:confused3 SO, I hope that I get lake view somewhere!!!!! Don't worry I will find you. At night I take walks with my sharpie and Mickey heads to sign decorated doors!:rolleyes1

No! You can't drive! Fly Jet Blue with us!!!! I am thinking of buying a magic bullet too! those could pack easy enough! OR ,wait and see if SW has a ding... for 49$ each way, you can't beat it gas is expensive and the tolls kill ya!

Good Morning everyone! seems everyone is up and about this great sunny day! hope everyones day goes well.

I told my DH about the $79 dollar Jet Blue prices, he still wants to drive! I think if we lived closer to Logan and could take public transit in..it wouldn't be as bad, but to pay for parking at Logan for a week...that's a killer! Trust me, I'd rather fly too, but he also wants to go to Cocoa Beach one day and then Universal another.......I'm like the heck with Cocoa Beach, and we can pay $15 dollars a person to have a shuttle take us to and from Universal! I think I'm going to lose this battle!

We are flying Jet Blue out of Logan too!

I only did the drive once... when I was moving down there we were in a big Ryder truck with a car carrier on the back. It took us like 3 days (one day the brakes went on the truck and Ryder had to try to fix, and couldn't so they moved all of our stuff into another truck) and that was the day of the OK City Bombings, so we got pulled over and checked too. I would never do the drive again. When we moved back, I flew, and made DH drive the truck back alone! (well, with our hampster) Never again. :sad2:

Do you have a shuttle from where you are? Or can you drive to one of the "Logan Express" lots? There are also ones by other companies too. I know my mom has one up by her that goes all the way to Portsmouth NH. The parking at Manchester is wicked cheap for the week, and you could rent a hundred dollar car in FL! Don't give up the fight! ;) :lmao:

Oh believe me, this battle isn't over yet! I'm hoping and praying that the rates come down even more than what they are now, if I can get a rate cheaper than $79 each way....I'm going to grab them! DH is looking at it that it's going to be approx $500 in flights and $200 to either drive and park or have a company pick us up an bring us back home. He said no way will gas cost us that much! I'm also thinking of the wear and tear we're going to be putting on MY car! If we can get my retired FIL to drive us to and from Logan and then all we have to do is pay for the flights and take the ME shuttle from MCO to POP...life is good!!! :thumbsup2

Like I said, I'm not done with this one yet! :rotfl2:

I need to find the picture of my window and put it up. We did a Halloween theme last year with lights and all. I loved it and so did the kids !!
