We are doing son's 1st birthday lunch at Playhouse Disney. Should be fun, I hope...I'm seriously hoping he is not scared of the characters while we are there.

One of the CM's that I talk to on the phone gave me a number to order a cake for Kendyll's birthday, we are having the cake at Crystal Palace. She also noted that she wants Pooh bear and the gang to be with Kendyll when she gets her cake. It will be such a nice thing to have the whole gang along with our family singing and dancing Happy Birthday to her. I can't wait to get it on my camcorder. Such memories. Sounds like we need to have a DIS meet. Maybe this summer I might have to do a BBQ for everyone. A good friend of mine that I met off of here lives in Michagan. She plans on coming over this summer too with her family.

I'm not sure where in canada you live I'm near sherbrooke, not that I ever when there drinking when I was 18

Not us- we don't get there until the 12th. Dang, these months are going to draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggg!!!

Um- I 'think' the ressie number for the cake depends on what restaurant you are eating at. I know I have a number for the Play and Dine to call 48 hours in advance for Landon's cake. Also, I've heard you can tell the hotel staff and they might leave something in your room? I'm not positive on that one. I'm just soooooooooooooooo excited to share Landon's 2nd birthday at the park!

What else? Something was in my head- what was it? UUUGH.

Oh- for those with daughters, look into the Bippety Boppity Bootique- I was reading those threads yesterday. MY DD is 7 and I'll have my 19 year old little sis with me too (wow- does that age me or what?). I'm going to book BOTH to get their hair/make-up done.

Sounds like fun. We have a cake ordered for DD's 8th B-Day at CRT. The CM said that Cinderella's Fairy Godmother will come out and deliver the cake. The CM I was talking to also said to make sure that we stop at City Hall on Main St to get a birthday pin for her.

Oh- for those with daughters, look into the Bippety Boppity Bootique- I was reading those threads yesterday. MY DD is 7 and I'll have my 19 year old little sis with me too (wow- does that age me or what?). I'm going to book BOTH to get their hair/make-up done.

We did this before the P&P party in Jan. My girls loved it. Be sure to get the pics done as they put them on the photopass and they turn out amazing. The fairy godmother's in training have a lot of fun with the kids too. We have it booked before MNSSHP for this trip too. They wore their costumes so they were all set.

We'll be at Pop 9/16-9/27, me, dh, my mom, and our seven little home grown monkeys, who are the main reason why I probably won't be doing much mojito-ing, though they are the main reason I probably need to. LOL

Dh's family will also be there for the first 6 nights.

We'll stop and say hi if there are any large inflatable monkeys by the pool.

We can meet up with my six monkeys and I'm sure between us we can take over the pool .

The should not have charged me anything at all. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!! It was also very say that Disney thought it was ok to hype this up to be about the little guys, when it totally wasn't. Anything for an extra buck I guess.

You stuck it out cuz you thought it'd get better!!! WHat was Ryan doing? Was he attempting to look like he was enjoying it? Poor thing!!! I can imagine Danny in Ry's situation.

One time at DtD in 2003 - Danny had saved his own money and wanted a caricature (sp?) done. So he say down and this guy started. And I dont even know what to say... it wasnt even CLOSE! I mean, his hair had this big strange wave at the top, and his nose was kind of 'turned up' and Danny has a nose like mine...it's a honker. ANd his collar oj his shirt, he made it *up*. The whole thing was weird.

The whole thing as me, and JImmy and Joey watched him draw, we didnt want to upset Danny, but we were like:

So he pulls the paper off and shows Danny and Danny did this and his smile dropped to a vomit-face.

SO we go inside and Danny turns to me and asks (Im laughing now, but I felt terirble then) he goes, all serious: "Am I really that UGLY?" SO I said, we'll get you a new guy to do this. And so I tell the cashier, the cashier says we have to tell the artist we dont like it.

So, needless to say, we just left. The drawing stayed with the guy and now everytime we go to DtD we joke and say "Lets see if Danny's picture is hanging up" We figured thats where all those 'samples' came from.

OMG- how horrible!!! First off- customer is always right and if the caricature was THAT bad- you shouldn't have to pay for it NOR have to go tell the artist that it sucked! Poor kid is right! LOL- we were going to have one done on our honeymoon- maybe I'm glad we never got it done

That said- WOW, I LOVE SALES! We have a Walmart that's closing down to move to a new location- I didn't know that when I popped in. I snagged a bunch of little handheld water misters (fan thingies) for less then a buck and a Tinkerbell costume for $11.00! I also picked up blister bandaid thingies (my poor Hubby had a blood blister or two or three last time we were there) as well.

Is it SAD that I'm packing already? LOL. I have the two DisneyLand ponchos that had made it safely into our closet packed and then the fans, firstaid stuff, in my bag as well!

I havent begun packing yet - but only because I havent found the perfect rolly bag I have yet to purchase.

But I have been 'picking up things' that I will need.... and have emptied out an entire dresser drawer for such.

So I guess I have packing...into a drawer since I dont have my rolly bag yet.
