Oh well... guess Ill just be forced to go to DTD and eat ice cream for dinner.. .and 'pre-shop'. When you decide what you will be purchasing unless something better comes along.

SWA hasn't opened their Sept. dates yet, but we like to take the really early leaving Chicago around 6:30 am flight and arrives around 10:05 am. So plans are to check in then hit Animal Kingdom and then a wonderful dinner at Boma's.:yay: :yay:

BOMA' is our "hands down" favorite:cloud9: Keep an eye on SWA.. they should be releasing dates for Sept near the end of this month.

We should be arriving sometime in the afternoon, check in and probably head to DTD or Boardwalk for dinner. We'll try to go to bed at a decent time so we can hit the parks first thing in the morning.

Good point. I actually was going to fly in the following day and thought "forget it" and just booked the day before. Ill pull my son out of school early that afternoon and just head to the airport.

That sucks butt.

YES - If I could have found an earlier flight (United's earliest was listed as 8.30am!!!!) I would have flown in, then hit MGM. Im trying BOMA for the first time this trip!!! Im excited!!!

When we arrive we plan to unpack then take a bus to DTD and check out a few shops and then dinner at 5:20 at Capt n' Jacks. Twin lobster tails; here we come. Then back to POP and go for a swim and sit back and have a drink or two. Anyone want to join me pool side for a drink?:confused3

I would - but I wont be there yet!!!

I wont get in until the 12th.

Am I the only one waiting with baited breath for free dining to be announced???

PLUS - I have a dilemme (would love to hear advice) Soooo, I booked originally from 9.13 - 9.17. Then when the airline flight times were not early enough, I noticed the 12th had a good flight...so I booked that.

Then I called Disney back and booked *seperately* another night...the 12th. WHy a seperate night? Cuz #1 - I had planned on PAYING for dining...and by doing it seperate, I didnt have to do that.

BUT NOW - they willbe announcing dining. And I wanna add it...should I add it now? Should I apply the dining to my package and add it? Should I apply the dining, attempt to add it and if I CAN, THEN cancel the 12th seperate day?

UGH!

Decisions, decisions. :rotfl:

Okay I know it's like 11:30am so almost noon and I just rolled my behind side out of bed so if I'm understanding your post or if I get it confussed please don't kill me. My Eyes haven't focused yet.:rotfl:
Personally this is what I would do. You already have your plane tickets bought for the 12th to the 17th. NOw that is a go. Now on to the dining. The free dining is a 99.9% chance a go. There is a site that I go to and they are very well known for their reputation. Free dining has been announced on their site and is open to the Visa holders for tomorrow and for public on Thursday. From what I understand. You do not have dining on your package so far but if you have those dates picked out you must of put a deposit down already of at least $200.00. All you need to do now is put on that 12th as a day on your package. Change it over now. Don't make it a separtate day. Have your ressies changed to say that you check in on the 12th and don't leave till the 17. Then put on the dining. the dining is only good for ONE USE per stay from what people are saying. So what I mean is if you have the the 13th to the 17th booked you would get free dining with that but NOT with the 12th that is a separate ressie and it doesn't fall in the book 3 nights category, and if it did fall in that category you still couldn't use it cause you already have it booked to be used starting the 13th. You can only have the dining ONCE during your trip. So added days need to be added as a complete time and not a separte day. Gosh this is too early for me, :dance3: I'm making my own head spin right now.
So Cat go fix that one day the 12th make it added right in with your other days and then add the dining and hopefully on Thursday there will be one of 3 things that happen. #1. They make us make a new reservation and cancel out our old one. OR #2. They keep our ressie and just adjust the price of our trip package to give a credit (for the ones who already paid in full) or to give us our package cheaper.
So to everyone plus Cat out here...if your confussed like me by my post,:dance3: oh well it's too early and Cat shouldn't asked questions like this at this time of the day.:lmao: If you can't make out what I'm saying just totally laugh it off as early morning syndrome.:rotfl:

I know!! :lmao: I think by typing it out, I figured out my problem on my own.

See, I dont want to add the 12th to my existing reservation, until I know I will have the free dining. The reason I did it seperate in the first place was so I didnt have to pay for an additional day of dining.

So.... on Thursday, I will call and attempt to have free dining applied to my ressie.

Then, if all goes well, I will then ask for them to add a day to my reservation. (the 12th)

Then, if again, all goes well - I will cancel the 'room only' I booked.

This was, if (GOD FORBID) I do not get free dining, I do not have to pay that extra day.

Understand?

LOL!

Hi all, Cat, would you add me and dh for POP 9/10-9/20?

We are returning to POP via the bounceback program, because we had such an awesome time last year. We enjoyed meeting up with DIS'ers and hunting for neat window displays and lgmhs.
Hope to meet some new Dissers,
