September 2006 Pin Event

Official Disney Pin Trading has announced Disney's Pin Celebration 2006 -- "It All Started With ... Walt" to be held at Epcot Friday Sep 8th through Sunday Sep 10th at World Showplace. Event Admission will be $90.00 per person, with admission to Epcot not included but required.

Currently there are no links for registration or other details.

Even though they "plussed" the price $15 from last year it's still not that bad a price for a three day event.

It is so unusual to think that it is January and the next planned pin event is in September! I am much more used to planning to hit WDW every few months or so for some event which we have done for the last 4 years or so!

I wanted to go but gonna miss this one. We will be in DL doing the inaugural Marathon - bummer!

I doubt this will be the first pin event of the year, Just the first one they have publicized. Each area has their own responsibility and some are more organized than others. EPCOT had it listed in "Upcoming Events" on the back of the Candlelight Processional brouchures. MGM and DAK don't appear to have venues to publicize stuff.
