:confused3 It appears that after looking at the Disneyland web site that Haunted Mansion is going down from Sept. 4th - 20th for the holiday overlay. Am I better off crowd wise planning my trip for Sept. 4-8 and missing HM, or can I wait until Sept. 24-28 and riding HM?

Also as of now, the only other ride scheduled to be down is the Gadget Go-Coaster, no mention of the Matterhorn.

It all depends on YOU. How much do you want to see the HM. I am toying with the same issues, but decided that I wanted to see the subs way more than the HM. Personally I am bored with the HM.

I went last year unknowingly on the first day the HM opened after they put up the Holiday decorations, and it was alot more croweded than i expected. If you plan your day correctly, it should be too bad. (such as hitting the HM first thing when the park opens while the rest of the crowd goes to Space Mountain )

I'll be there for the 28th as well it's MY B-DAY!!!!! wohoo!!!!

Haunted will be down from Sept. 4 - 20. It will re-open on the 21st according to the calendar.

My main question is: how much more crowded will DL be at the end of Sept. vs. the days after Labor Day???

OH NO! Everywhere I looked showed it not closing until the following week. I'll be there the day after it closes. ::sad2: I'm so bummed now. And I thought I timed it perfectly. :sad1:

I would think since the area schools are out around the first/second week of September that it would be alot busier later in the month. Just a guess though...

are they opening the holiday stuff a week earlier than last year?? Last year it was the very last 2 days of sept, but if the HM is back open on the 21st thats a week earlier than last year. If so that would be great.
