Early signs of Cabin Fever here. 28 degress and about 4 more inches of snow. I gotta go where it is warm.

Tippy looks like she is saying, "look at the silly things I do for you, I better get a treat for this"

Scott, please keep the white stuff on your side of the border....I'm still enjoying the changing colours of the leaves here in Ontario!!! I'm not ready for snow!!

Just keep that gun away from the freezer. :)

Yes treats. Even though she is on the low-fat, low calorie ones now. She does enjoy (and expect) treats. :dog:

No snow here either!!!
We had a lot of wind last night. Thought that I would have to go out this morning and trackdown the deck furniture. Surprise! It was all still there. Just needs to be rearrange. The wind was hitting the house just right so that it shielded the deck.

Everyone have a good sunday. Especially poor double-time Peter. $$$$$

It was windy here this morning also. Hope that all have a great weekend. Mike

Getting some of the Christmas decorations up and listening to Christmas music. For you Buffett fans and Island style music fans. Check out Eric Stones new Christmas Album. “Great White Christmas” I like it. That combined with Christmas Island by Buffett, Steel Drum Christmas Albums, Candlelight Processional, and Manheim Steamroller, makes a good mix.

Lynn said she got me a Mickey MP3 thingie for my birthday, can’t wait to get it and put some tunes on it.

SCUBA class this afternoon. Still cold drab, with rain and snow,

Just keep that gun away from the freezer.
I am afraid I would put more than six holes in it.

Scott....a Mickey MP3 thingie????? Do tell....are these available in stores?????? Mom and I are going to Niagara Falls USA this week and I'd love to pick one up!!!!

So Scott, are you coming to Florida? Mid-80s and sunny, but may cool off by week's end, low 80s. Alex :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

They were pretty good in this pose. Amazing what they will do for a treat. Note the white stuff in the background. It is headed your way.

Made our flight reservations today and we will be arriving on 9/14. Still leaving on 10/1. Will be off property the night of 9/14, using Holiday Inn points.

Scott, I love the picture of your dogs in the snow. I can't say that I am going to miss that stuff this winter or any more for that matter :teeth: Since I have been down here in Florida, I could not ask for better weather. Today is the first cloudy day in 3 weeks, and is in the mid 80's and touch of humidity. This I can definately live with.

Also, no fights for me this cruise......I am going to enjoy that also!

hi everyone -
got home from WDW - knew I was coming back to the same old mess. Was told by FL Power & Light Co. men today that our area would not have electric until aroun Nov. 17th. I ride over to the house about once a day.

Had some young strong people pack up everything in the house into a POD (portable on delivery) today. left only two beds in the house. insurance adjuster coming tomorrow to appraise damage.

electric pole is being held up by a Ficus tree in back yard - otherwise, it would have fallen in the middle of the house.

Pool was diamond brited yesterday and today. looks like a new pool. The roof from the man's house behind me is out of the pool now also - and all over the back yard. someone is coming tomorrow to remove it. totally a mess. Spa was not damaged and Harry was happy about that.

hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. my computer is still down but am using my sister's right now - am way behind in reading and responding to certain threads.

Scott

your puppies are beautiful. I am a true puppy lover also. Know they must give you a lot of joy and love

Here's an interresting update. We were out in the yard today and we found several pine cones. O.K., but the big thing is that there are no pine trees anywhere close. :confused3 WOW! Guess that wind was stronger than I thought.
Should have been looking for signs of Dorthy and Toto. :)

Elaine, I think Lynn ordered it from the Disney Store. I thought they were supposed to be available at Kmrat and Walmart

Alex and Robin, Your FL weather sounds great to me. 81 more weeks then I pull the pin and we are outta here, FL bound.

Kay sounds like you are getting life back to normal, this is good to hear.

We will be at WDW for two weeks starting the Sunday after Turkey Day. I will be like Sam McGee finally warm again.

Trust me Bob you are not a ruby slipper kinda guy, I can see it now…..I’ll get you my pretty…. And your little dog too. Enter Tippy stage left to bite the witch… yeah Tippy. …Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain…

I have yet to see these puppies in the stores yet. Supposedly, you can order them online from Walmart, Target, ect. But then, for you, there's that customs thing. :)

I'm sure that they will be in the stores soon. I just wish that there was more to them. Like a lcd screen. I guess for $49 ($57.89 canadian) what can you expect.

Thanks Scott and Lynn!!!!! :cool1:

Luckily for us, the storms went north and we didn't see too much damage here in Salt Lake. They kept saying we were going to get it last week and weekend, but the weatherman never knows what he is talking about around here!

Last night I think they said we have gone 215 days without hitting freezing temperatures here in the valley. Hopefully, it will last a little longer so I don't have to turn the heat on again. The minute the temperature drops Robert and Jamie thinks it needs to be like Florida INSIDE THE HOUSE!

Don't even want to look at the gas bill when it comes.

Linda

Took down Halloween decorations over the weekend, starting putting up Christmas. Thought we ought to get good use out of them this year since last year I said "we aren't decorating". (We were on the 10 day Christmas Cruise!)

I'll post a picture of our Disney tree once we get it up!

Linda

Man o Man having a tough time getting it going today, bad case of the Monday’s I guess , but am getting caught up here at work. It is just a four day week, so not just for that a big thanks to our Vets who served for our freedoms and our way of life. Thanks.

We do two Christmas trees, the bigger is for Disney fun ornaments , and the smaller we put in our bedroom has all our travel ornaments. Good memories all. Got the little one up and decorated the bed room and some of the living room. Such are the toils of leaving for WDW at Christmas time.

Wonder if I could commute from Linda’s warm house?? You go Robert and Jamie. Now I know where to get warm at. Speaking of which. ..... Taking our latest SCUBA class to Homestead Crater this coming weekend, I know I can get warm there in the 96 degree water. Will feel good for sure.

In the immortal words of the Jamminators “Back to Work”.
