St Kitts is now my favorite of any Caribbean island. I LOVED it! I was simply blown away by the beauty of the island. It has these spectacular cliffs and an amazing beach on the spit of land between the handle of the paddle and the main oar part (when you look at the island it looks like a cricket mallet or an oar) and we loved the people of the island.
We simply took a local taxi and had him take a bunch of us on a tour of his island! What a great decision! I now recommend this at any of the islands, but on St. Kitts it was an immeasurable treat to learn about his life, his treasures on the island, and see the regular spots that tourists would go to like the Batik museum, the fort,
and the Trafalger Square.
The beach we went to was something straight out of Hawaii for its huge mountainous volcanic peaks jutting out of the landscape to the immense sandy areas with waves crashing. Just gorgeous! It's a very poor island, but the people are lovely.
I really can't wait to get back.
So that is my review - I hope this helps.
This is a view of both the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea and the beach I was referring to. The vistas are amazing!
