Hi all!
The weekend was really busy. No meals at home Mike. Ate good though.
Looking forward to saturday. Cinco De Mayo and Kentucky Derby Day.
Fajitas and Mint Julips.
Yes Cheryl, GOT MINT!

PHBelle.jpg

(Belle did her part walking with the Phlock)
After the March of Dimes Walk, we had to head up north for Lee's mom's birthday.
She celebrated her 80th.:cool1:
We got back late yesterday afternoon with just enough time to get the grass mowed. Then it was time to decompress.

We had dinner with a friend and her husband saturday. It was one of those OMG events. Kinda like this....
friend- "when is your next trip"
us- "two weeks"
friend- "OMG, us too. Where?"
us- "cruise"
friend- "OMG, us too. What port?"
us- "Port Canaveral"
friend- "OMG! us too! The 12TH?"
us- "yes! OMG!"

No, this does not have a Disney ending. :sad2:
They will be on the Carnival Glory heading south just before we head east on the Magic. Was kinda a freaky moment. Would have been great to had them onboard though.

Hope everyone has a great week.
(be glad when V50.net pays their internet bill-I miss my tickers)

How sad for them to have to be on the Carnival ship!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Yes Cheryl, GOT MINT!

Woo Hoo, the mint is ready!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

OMG...Belle is getting so big, and she is so cute. Love that picture.

Would have been cool if your friends were on the ship with you, lol, but you still have lots of others on the ship with you. pirate: :cheer2:

No stains on the carpet, that is a good thing!!!

:woohoo:

Have the chicken..it is excellent! Are you going to be in Orlando the weekend the transatlantic leaves?

We were supposed to be in Orlando for my birthday in June but we rescheduled for September and added more days. We are in the process of building a Jumbo deck (56'x12') and really need to work on it in June instead of going ot WDW. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Oh well, atleast we can get the deck finished and enjoy it a bit.

We will be at WDW August 30-September 8, then cruising September 8 on the Magic for 7 days. :woohoo: :woohoo:

My grandparents are cruising with us (1st cruise ever). They are so excited. We are booking parasailing and the Jet Ski tour on CC for my PawPaw. Hes a bit of a daredevil. For his birthday a couple of years ago he went up in a stunt plane. He loved it! My grandparents have spent their entire lives doing for others and now we get to give back to them. We are very excited about that. The whole famdamly cruise continues to grow.............

I'll post pics of our deck as soon as its done. Its a DIS labor of love. Kevin and Kborn (Keith) have built it from the ground up. Its 56 ft wide and 12 ft out and 16 ft off the ground. Its a monster!

:thumbsup2

Wow Funny im going to Tear one down tomorrow...
to make way for the new addition that is going on the Clients house..

Actually the excavator is going to to it , yip rip it down with the Machine!!

then dig the foundation hole... ;)

Peter, ours is built with 6x6 posts sunk 3 ft in the ground. Hopefully it ain't moving! Kevs goal is to have a New years eve party with 100 people on it. We shall see......

The original deck was a 56x8 and held up by twigs. We are doing this one up right. Kevin and Keith have the frame up so we but boards across and put folding chairs on it so we can walk out of the kitchen and sit on our redneck deck. There are no rails yet. I told Kevin not to make me mad or I'd give him a little push over the edge. :lmao: Maybe I should up his life insurance real quick.........

Kidding, kidding......

I can't wait until we can sit out there and birdwatch again. IIts like we live in a treehouse with all of the trees in our yard. Yesterday we watched a woodpecker for an hour. I love it!

....

My, that is quite the deck. Make ours look like a postage stamp.
We love ours. It's nice to set outside on nights like this.
It is 78 degrees and no bugs yet. Wi-Fi is such a great thing.

Warm and muggy here today. Grass needs cutting and dishes need washing. No rest for the weary.:rotfl: Mike

Do you get to go- or will you be watching the dogs?

I did the Minnie this weekend- 9 miles in 78 degree weather and super, super high humidity. I ended up walking the entire event, too, too hot and humid to run. I would suggest Jenn and her friends work their way up to 10 miles and then work on speed. Does she have Marathons for Mortals?

I am in FL for a few days longer- I missed my flight home as I was in the emergency room having x-rays after I rolled my ankle going down the stairs at my sister's house. I ankle swelled to the size of my calf. :headache: Nothing is broken, but I have to have an MRI when I get home to see if I tore the ligaments. Sitting here on the couch- elevated and iced. You should see me hobbling around on my crutches...:lmao: Oh and did I mention the sexy splint and shoe they have me wearing??? :scared1:

Hello Elaine-
I know you are some where close by.....

Tell Lesley and Joe an early congrats for me.

Did you register for the 13 K yet???

Sorry to hear about the ankle.

We did not make it to Chicago for the Bark in the Park. Next year for sure.
