I've recovered access to my 6700+ photos from the 11 nite cruise!

I've fixed my external hard drive - and now I can back up to DVD / CD from the storage drive that has ALL 6700 images from the 11 nite sailing. I was going to set aside the general (non-personal) images from the sailing for some other folks from our sailing who expressed interest in my photos. Most of them had camera failures - or wanted my pix to add to thier archieves. Some images are marginal - as I tend to "spray" - but in doing so a few are real gems too.

So = if you want a set let me know - but I'm out of town tomorrow and then the next day is dominated by travel tomorrow and the Queen Latifah concert wednesday - then I have another concert far off in Laugna Nigel (Pagent of the Masters) on saturday - so I might get time to start burning CDs or DVDs until sunday or next week ... as my notebook computer is dead and out for repair with a friend - I pick it up on thursday or friday nite IF it is fixed. If not then I'm buying a new notebook immediately. My spouses' business computer is not available to me during the day - and at nite it is mixed bag to gain access. I have limited time tonight on her computer - as I have to get some sleep to drive out of town tomorrow.

Aside from that - I hope everyone is well... I have NOT read any of the latest postings to the thread (yet) so I don't know whats going on here - alas, my time is limited...

So we're one step closer to getting the pix to you!

Have been there.. great little coffe shop on the left coming back, from the marker of the S. most point.

Peter since you were a cook in the service, there was a dish that they used to serve in the mess hall that was pretty good. I remember that they gave you rice and on top of it was a kind of spaghetti or chili sauce. I remember that it had red beans or kidney beans in it. They might not have made it when you were in, as this was 1969 and 1970.

We are probably going to wind up taking Katie our oldest grand daughter with us. Her mom has not been able to get a babysitter for her while we would have been gone. Mike

Hey Peter, KEWL Stuff on your classes. Get a lowboy and load a couple of those puppies up and head out here I got a little dirt work to do. Hey you might get a job loading the DCL ships.

Have fun with HazWopper, hope it is cool when you have to do the PPE stuff. Mine was at Quantico, VA in August, pored a half gallon of sweat outta each boot. Hint if it is hot wear a swim suit instead of regular clothes and have some to change into.

The place we were in Thursday we could have used Level A PPE. It was very nasty.

Long week (72 Hrs) and I am looking forward to the weekend off. Catch up on the Tour and doing some work on the barn.

Mike, have a great time in Florida. If you make it to Key West, go to the Green Parrot. Best bar in KW. For a good, cheap and quick meal, the BO fish wagon. I am envious.

Peter, good luck on the training. Lee doesn't need the heavy equipment stuff, but has been thru the HazMat training. Said she like to see you go through it.

Scott, cut back on the hours man. 72 is way too many. Been there, done that. Not good.

Hey Captain, would be interrested in some of your pics, but not all 6700+.

Bob and I love Universal / IOA / City Walk...fantastic place for vacation!

Key West is a blast also..Bob would love to live there. I think I would go crazy there..lol.

Well Frontier Days kicked off yesterday, We will be going to the parade today and maybe a rodeo tomorrow. Big air show on Wednesday , will be kewl to see the Thunderbirds.

Still moving stuff to the barn from the basement, when that gets done, will have to paint the garage floor and then start on finishing the basement. Lots to do but we are making progress.
