Just got home from the sailing....

.... this was one of the very best voyages we've ever taken! So much nice to share (especially from the involved and neighborly DIS folks!) - but it's late and I gotta get some rest. SO I'll post somethin' more later - and I'll try to sort trough some of the 6,632 pictures I shot and kept. And that's not counting the pictures I shot on our debarkation day! And yeah... now I have LOTS of material for photoshopping images in the years to come.... LOL... I'm just kidding. I have a number which may qualify as moderately memorable to some....

Oh well... I kno... I'm a nut with the camera. Oh yeah... we rebooked for Septeber 15th 2007 ... and all our table mates rebooked for the same voyage as well? Anyone else rebook yet? And any returning on the 15th with the Magic (Eastern)?

OK.... gotta run now....

Get some rest...

Cheers!

Here are a couple of handy snap shots. Not my best 0 just quick selections....

This Stinks.
It is 37° and I could see my breath when I put Tippy outside. :cold:
And to top it off, I had to make my own breakfast.

Still, since I am not on the Mickey Boat, it is good to be home. We had a great time.

Thanks to our tablemates, Cheryl & Bob(webray), Lynn & Scott (ScottH), Jenn & Peter (Hygeine99), Tracy & Bill (winotracy), Lesile (DPD) and Elaine (MickeyandJoshNut) for such enjoyable dinners every evening.
The food was good, but the 10 of you are what made the meals the best. :thumbsup2
Our servers Charlie and Chris were good. I will always remember Chris' smiling face every evening and his "Mahna Mahna". :rolleyes1

And as the smiling flight attendant said to me when we left the plane in Indy, "It's back to Reality".

Time to catch up on things. Everyone have a great day.
Thirty seven degrees??? Say it ain't so, Bob! Our friends that drive truck too called and said they have already hit snow in Wyoming on I-80. FUN FUN FUN. Back to reality it is- but NeverNeverLand was great, wasn't it? :cloud9:

Now Kevin....

.... you should be more CAREFUL what you ask for.... but then again, I didn't really PhotoShop these images much at all in the most conventional sense. I sort of ... "enhanced" them for viewability. :lmao:

So, did anyone notice how happy this couple was in this 1st anniversery cruise photo? Especially the grinnin' lady pirate versus her .... companion? LOL! AND below is a slightly magnified and "enhanced" image for any who might have missed some of the fine detail in the upper photo with the blue trim....

I guess for some pirates there could be a worse fate on their 1st anneversry voyage then being led back to the cabin at knife point by their pirate spouse!!!! Someone remind me to stay "polite" around Cyndi on the next sailin'... that knife looks pretty sharp!!!! :rolleyes1 And, how on Earth did you get that thing through SECURITY Cyndi???

Nice photo Cap, but you cut me off on the right side. Or maybe that is a good thing.

We are taking the ship there on May 12. It will be an adventure I'm sure.

I did not take the photo above as I was IN it .... and late last nite I just randomly selected a pirate group photo to post that seemed sort of sharp. Here's a more proper photo I sort of "ripped".....

I hope this is a little better.... I'm not even IN it! I ran off to help my volunteer photographer <only to find my camera battery had died~!> ... but at least my spouse and sleeping daughters (in my spouses' arms and another in the stroller at the extreme lower right) are in it! And Brian... no complaints! I tried at length to repair the image of you in this photo but had insufficient alternate data to pull it off well! At least Linda looks OK here! :confused3

This was the best vacation ever!! Thank you all for making it so special!!

Thanks again for lending the life vests for our kids! I wish I had rented the jet skis though... cuz I think $25 for 15 minutes was a pretty fair rate! But Alicia said (correctly) our girls would clamor to want a ride it too and it might not be safe enough for them to ride - especially with me driving! Here are a couple of photos I snapped from that day on the beach in Barbados....

Hi everyone!

After a 14 hour drive we finally made it home last night at 11:00 pm.

Thank you to everyone for all of the fish extender gifts, great conversation and Disboard activities. I knew the Disboards was well known but I had no idea! Just about every CM was talking about the boards! WOW!

And a special

WELCOME HOME!!! to Doug and Carol (pahrumpgirl) and Kevin and Cyndi (PrettyInTink)!! New DVC members!

Thank you again everyone for a wonderful cruise!

We made it home in time to see the last 3 minutes of Drew's soccer game - headed to the field straight from the airport. It was 41 degrees! Needless to say I was not dressed properly and had forgotten to put a jacket in the truck before we left so maybe the fact that they only had 3 minutes was a good thing.

Thanks to everyone that planned activities and added to our fish extenter - what a great time! Don't know how I will hold out for the next 14 months but we shall see...

We had a WONDER-ful time. Gorgeous weather, unbelievable service, excellent food, beautiful islands, and lots of FUN. Thanks to everyone for making this cruise even more memorable. Thanks to all of you for your hard work!!! Kinda hard to get back into the routine....miss the mouse!

On behalf of myself and the other "Escaping Moms", I want to thank everyone who included us in the great little surprises at our door every day! We really were not expecting it (or I would have brought my fish extender), but it was soooo nice & fun to come back and find goodies.

Thanks also to those of you who knew about my friend having to leave the ship on the very first day, and offering your condolences.

It was a pleasure to meet those of you who we got a chance to meet and talk to.

I hope everyone had as good a time as we did!

Say...

I confess to being a little confused on this .... but here's the scoop: All the fish extender gifts for Jweiss were delivered to the wrong cabin. And the nice folks in their cabin brought everything to my cabin. Evidently the gifts I nad dropped off for them had been labeled with my cabin number and possibly my cabin was the shortest walk for the folks to drop off to. I contacted the floor monitor to try and see if Jweiss had reported their cabin change to them - but no luck. Then I was referred to friends of theirs (here's where my memory fails) who had sailed with them before - and I left a couple of Voice mail messages asking for a referral to Jweiss' cabin so I could deliver their fish extender gifts. But I got a message back that they did not know where their cabin was either. So... I was going to drop off the stuff to them but things sort of got busy in the closing day we had left. All this happened on the last 2 days or so. So with all the packing to leave, last day kids' club graduation running around, pager returning, last minute purchases in Shutters and gift shops, etc., etc., etc.... I forgot to return Jweiss' stuff to their friends' cabin... and now I don't have access to the Wonder voice mail (obviously) to figure out who it was I was to contact. So - I've sent a PM to Jweiss - and if their friends could step forward and maybe help me get their address via PM - then I'll send their DIS fish extender gifts and goodies...

... Can anyone help me out with this juggling act?

Oh boy... what do ya kno... I just got the 17,300th entry by random chance!... woo hoo! :lmao:

A huge thank you to everyone for all the activites and fish extender gifts. Also a thank you to whoever was Ian's secret Mickey- he absolutely loved finding all the goodies. We apologize for missing the SM reveal but Ian had a talent show to attend. Thanks to seaulater for the awesome scrapbooking class. What a wonderful group pirate:

Well Kids , another great trip for the books, and it was great to meet ya all. We are still at WDW, Dive Quest was last night and it was fun, all had a great time.

Heading home tomorrow, bummer, but we have great memories and new friends.

What is this DVC thing you all are talking about???? LOL Tee Hee

More later , I gotta get to AnimalKingdom.

Oh yes, If you could help us out with photos it would be great, we lost the data on one of our memory cards, including the OKW pre cruise party, and the first few days of the trip. Will try a recovery when we get home.

Enjoy kids, Later

It was a KEWL cruise…..

:sunny: GOOD MORNING ALL :sunny:

Still having cruise withdrawl, but it will pass. Always does.
Out on the deck this morning, I watched the sun come up, smelled leaves burning and heard the birds do their thing. Even though I am not on the ship, it is good to be home. Life is good.

We did sign up for the eastbound crossing cruise, so their is a cruise in our future. Looks like there are several disers on the roster already. Only
