Morning everyone!!!! TGIF!!!! Only 12 more work days until the cruise. Wow and I have alot of work to do.

You should be able to watch Gray's Anatomy on the ship, but who's going to have time to do that with so much going on? Plus, it's on during either dinner or the show isn't it?

Just got the old DCL/DVC shuffle when I called to ask about the AP onboard credit..

DCL say it applies, DVC says it doesn’t. Will have AP’s with us so will ask at the port.

So if anyone else who has booked on points and has a different story please advise.

Do you have a "TA" when you book through points, i.e. a members services person? If not, I'd just copy your APs and fax them with your confirmation number to that original fax number. (I might just do that anyway). If DCL says it applies, can't they just apply it? The lady was going to do it for me last night until she found out I had a TA.

Sorry, the points question didn't cross my mind when I was on the phone with them last night.

Is it better than what I downloaded last weekend? My contacts would keep popping in and out -- online, offline, online,.... You get the picture. I called my mom and she wasn't doing anything different. I know with the older versions now there are sometimes issues with them refreshing the contact list (a change they made when they releaesd 2.5), but that's not nearly as annoying.

Odd, that. I don't think I've ever had any problem similar. I've always had it running on a very reliable cable modem (i.e., when it's up, it's up ... and when it's down, it's down, which is rare ... no up/down behavior). I'm honestly not sure when .144 came out though. Sorry.

The night shift was pretty tame last night. I'll look you up when I get my laptop going. So if you see a contact request from winotracy, you know what to do. (run in the other direction )

I saw the request when I turned on my monitor (left my computer on for a backup last night) and, amazingly, I accepted it! If you do call, it may take me a second or two to answer, cuz I don't normally have my mic plugged into my headset ... which means I have to dig it out from the piles of crap on my desk!

I sent a trouble report to Skype. it doesn't happen with all my contacts. It does happen with Leslie & my mom. Peter says it happens with me. It hasn't happened with you since you signed on. Not sure why it does this. Hopefully soon they'll get it worked out.

I noticed today that you can get a Skypecast and have up to 100 people in a chat!!

I usually send a chat message before I call. Most of my contacts don't have their mics hooked up regularly. I have a USB phone so I have to go to the phone cradle to get it when someone calls.

Had a conversation with Lamar last night. He was fixin' to report his AMEX card stolen. He saw these "weird" charges to these internet party supply houses on his card for unusual tropical items. I spent a few minutes explaining to him that they were legit. He said OK. Then he came back a couple of minutes later and said, "Aren't we going to just drive over to the pier and get on the ship like we always do and relax"?.

OK, I think it's all finally figured out. Talked to DCL last night myself to ask if this would work for those with the DL APs and was told, "No, but if you have an AP it can work for you with your Fla res rate!" She tried to do it for me, but I have a TA, so she said I had to go through her. I made her check with her manager since my TA had been told no the night before. My TA called this morning, and we have $100 credits on two of our three rooms now! Sorry for the DL people -- makes no sense to me. APs are APs when it comes to Disney, I should think.

Try to get into DL with a WDW AP (or vice-versa), and you'll find out otherwise, I'm affraid. It's nearly as expensive for a "one-and-a-half-park" AP here as it is for a four-park AP in FL!

DVC is our TA, and there is the confusion arises, Tee Hee I did already send a Fax to DCL, some times the back door is easier to get through. WIll try at the Port. Thanks Much..

On the May cruise the final DHW was on and we didn't get very good reception due to the satellite....depends on where we are in the big blue sea. I literally remember them stopping the ship so we didn't lose the satellite image.


I don't know why I like GA- it is unrealistic in many ways. How many times have you seen a doctor sitting at the bedside for long periods of time, performing enemas, or going with a patient to a test. Medically they are somewhat accurate. I am thinking about getting a "Seriously!" shirt from the show though...those of you who watch, know what I am referencing. (however the music from the show if FAB!)

Nope. Dial up doesn't work real well with Skype. My mom and I both have hi-speed cable. The funny thing is that it doesn't happen to everyone who has me as a contact. Just Peter is all I have heard of.

For those of us who are name challenged, I encourage everyone to wear your lanyard, our names will be on them and no one needs to be embarassed about forgeting a name!

For clothes, I have 2 semi formal dressed that I wear on formal night, Scott wears a tux. On other nights, I usually wear either a casual dress, or slacks and shirt. Scott will wear slacks and a tropical print shirt.

We bring enough clothes for dinner, but will often do a load of laundry of shorts and t shirts in the middle of the week.

Of course everyone has 2 fridges, don't they?
