Thanks for posting this. I never have seen it in timeline form. Very intreresting. It's such a shame that flight 93 ever left the ground. Looks like the FAA suspected a highjacking at 8:40 and flight 93 took off at 8:42. Can't help but think if they new this info the pilots on board flight 93 would have never opened the cockpit door and would have landed their plane. If we had only known. It's a very sad day. :sad1:

May we never forget!!!!

We watched one of the specials on TV last night. Recently went to the movie World Trade Center. It is unreal how many feelings the memories bring back.

I feel for all those who lost loved ones that day. They are our true heroes......

Thank you for posting this. What a difficult day this will be as the country weeps.

Your posting brings back a lot of sad memories. I remember watching all of it unfold on television. I remember my daughter calling me from school. She was upset because she heard what had happened and she knew her dad was flying that day. I had heard from him and he was fine. I went to school and picked up my daughter. I wanted her at home.

Tears welled up in my eyes when I dropped her off at school this morning. There was a large American flag hanging from the front of the school.

It is indeed a very sad day. My heart goes out to everyone who lost someone on that horrible day. :sad2:

Thanks for posting. I've been on the verge of tears all morning. What a sad day.

Just a small correction to the timeline...the South Tower fell at 9:59am.

May God bless the families and loved ones of those who died that day. :grouphug:

Didn't the PA flight crash an hour later or so than on your timeline? I'm watching the Today show replay now and there is no talk of it yet. And I am pretty sure I was close to home when the reports came out that the plane was missing. And I don't think I got home until around 11am.
