This is the thing...if we went in Sept, I will still be nursing (with jar foods, etc also of course)
If we waited till Jan, I would be done nursing.

I think that either age would be great (we've done 5 months, 9 months and 19 months)....but I think that I'd rather go with a little one when the weather was cooler. Kids can be so miserable when they are hot. We took DD in Sept last year when she was 5 months, and she did alright, but we had to be sure to go into the a/c regularly for her sake. It just took a lot more planning is all.
Hmmm....a thought...if the baby was 13 months, he/she would be able to taste some fun new foods.....
I think you are right, that either age warrents a lot of time in the stroller, and so long as you have a relaxed kiddo, it won't be a problem.
