We are trying to decide whether to go in Sept or Dec. We homeschool so that isn't a problem - which has better weather?

Also - should we rent a DVC or stay at the resort? We stayed at BC last May and Loved it - so it would be a deluxe either BWV or BC. Would we still get the dining plan if we rented a DVC?

Thanks,

Christine

September would have the better weather and more than likely lower crowd levels. As far as renting DVC that would be a great option for you and yes the dinning plan is available if you choose to get it.

We've been to Disney many times in Dec. Always the second and third week of the month. We usually arrive on the last day of Pop Warner. The crowds are minimal, although it seemed a little busier the last couple of years. Weather really is hit or miss. In Dec. of 06, we packed a lot of shorts/t-shirts and needed jeans and sweatshirts. In 07 I went prepared for cold, and we never needed a jacket. (My sweet mil packed one pair of shorts, we had to make a trip to Walmart in search of more!!) We love the Xmas decorations and find WDW so magical this time of year. This year we've decided to brave the heat and are going Sept. 11th. I'm a little worried about crowds, as it is free dining(the reason for this trip). My dd's are so excited, they've always asked to do MNSSHP. I think we'll be spending more time at the resort, and enjoy the pool a little more than we do in Dec. We've rented points and stayed at OKW and WL villas. Both were nice, and the people we rented from we're great. Have a great trip.

Although I like the decorations I would have to go in Sept so I could get some pool time to relax in between the parks. All those days in the parks wear me out by day teo and I need to unwind.

If this is really just about the weather, your decision should be easy. If you like warmer weather and water parks - September. If you like cooler weather and don't mind not being able to get wet - December. Both will have low crowds...
