When are they going to post hours for September? I've been waiting for months! I did scroll backwards through the months on the website to see what they were in 2011....but it would be nice to be certain for 2012.

Typically...IOA is open 9-7 and the Studios is open 9-6 during those months since it's slow season. However...during Halloween Horror Nights, the Studios will close an hour early at 5pm on those nights that HHN is staged. IOA is unaffected by HHN which is why it stays open a bit later. The official hours should be posted soon...just keep checking.

The Studios is going to have to be open later on non HHN nights during these months since they are running the new night time show.

The new show is running nightly during the summer but only on "select nights" through the end of the year. There's no telling what "select nights" will mean in terms of longer hours for off season...we'll have to wait and see.

i don't know if they are going to do that.

i pulled up the site for the dinner at lombards special for that night time show.
it only had about 4 september nights listed.

could be that the dinner dates will reflect the show dates....

just a guess.


or it could be UO only has the early part of september worked out so far.

That would lead you to believe it is going to be on every night other than the nights listed.

I wonder where those dates came from since there are no dates listed on the Universal website. And what about HHN? Those dates aren't listed and I find it hard to believe the full show will be done on HHN nights. I've read where the "bubble barges" will be used for a HHN themed show but I seriously doubt there will be fireworks and lasers during HHN. The bubbles have been used before so that's not a surprise and frankly...I enjoyed the show a few years ago...I would be glad to see it again.

the summer show has about 4 days in early september.
Labor Day period.

november dates for holiday and certain periods that have kids w/ no school.

once summer is over, hours can be extended certain periods during the year but not necessarily every day of the month would it apply to.

when i saw the schedule some time back, i never thought it would be a continuous, night time year round event.


i'm thinking like Metro West on this one.

They don't have to be open until nine the other parts of the year to put in the show since it gets darker earlier. If they are open until six in December, they can run the show. Probably seven in November. I really only question the second half of August and September since the park usually is not open late enough those dates and I don't think they can reasonably expect a large bump in attendance this year to justify extending hours.

I would have to agree that I don't think it will run for HHN.
