Sept crowds -- the 15th-18th????

DH and I are tentatively planning a trip to WDW in mid-September. I am hoping you guys can give me some ideas about crowd levels at the time. Is there anything going on during this time of year we should take into consideration? Which parks are busiest on the weekends? TIA

Crowds in September are about as light as they ever get at WDW. However, weekends are busier than weekdays, as you might expect.

Make sure you make your dining reservations ASAP---many restaurants will be full because of the free dining promotion going on during that time.

We were there last year at the exact time, and even with the Free Dining, it was extremely light crowds. We loved it. We didn't do any TS dining, though, so can't speak for that. You'll have a wonderful time!

September rules at WDW....right about mid-week after Labor Day weekend the crowds disappear and it's just awesome. You really can't go wrong in September....

We're going for a super-quick weekend trip from the 15th-17th. The 1st MNSSHP is on Fri the 15th so the MK will close earlier than usual that night, plus there is free dining, but other than that I don't think it will especially busy.

We love September because it's so quiet compared to other times of the year. I agree about making some ADRs soon though.

I usually go the week right after Labor Day and the longest waits are about 15 minutes. No crowds, great weather, and a very relaxed atmosphere all around. We will be at POP from Sept. 15 - 19, so perhaps we will see you there!

I'm going to be there with the family from Sept 16-23. Good to hear the crowds are light. Anybody guess how much EMH's affect crowds? MK has evening EMH on Sunday night.
