Sept Code and Modified Reservations

Have those of you who booked the Sept room-only code received a modified reservation confirmation in the mail? I modified my reservation on the 19th, but I have not yet received my confirmation of the new room rate. I've reconfirmed my new rate by phone, but I don't have the hardcopy in-hand, which makes me slightly nervous. Should I call again and request a copy be sent, or should I give them a little more time?

Yes. I changed my reservations twice in one day and received all my confirmations and cancellations in the mail within a week.

i got mine about 2-3 days after makeing the change.

I received mine about 7 days after making the change.

Written confirmations can take as long as 10-14 days.

If you verbally confirmed it don't worry about it.

I also modified and did not receive a hard copy (it has been 10 days). My friend, whose stuff I am taking care of did. So I had to call and get a confirmation number. So I would call if I were you.

OMG!! I called . . . . and BOY am I glad I did!!! Talk about a HUGE mixup!

Although I did call 2 days later to verbally confirm my reservation, I had also asked the CM to RE-check for a standard view room (with the AZZ discount). She said the view was still only available at rack rate and asked if I wanted to change to this view? I said, "No, I want to keep what I already have with code AZZ and was only checking to see if the standard view was available WITH a discount." Simple enough, right! WRONG!!

When I called back today, the ressie was for a standard (not woods) view WL room at RACK RATE!!!!! I almost cried, but I didn't. To make a long story short, the CM, after at least 20 minutes of research, was finally able to rebook my original reservation.

THANK GOODNESS for the WONDERFEUL CM I got today (I can't for the life of me remember her name . . . it was something Gail, and I'm ashamed of myself for not asking her name again!)

LESSON LEARNED: Check AGAIN on your discounted ressie if you don't get a confirmation after one week -- ESPECIALLY if you had called to recheck the availability of other room types/resorts just shortly after booking the discount!!

Prior to AZZ, I had made a switch from POFQ to WL. The new confirmation I received indicated that the deposit I had paid on the POFQ ressie had been applied to my new WL ressie.

Since I just "straightened out" my current reservation, I can't say anything certain about it. However, the CM did mention that both reservations (the messed up one and the one she made today) both showed that I had made my deposit.

Don't know if that helps, but maybe someone else will answer you.

I can't remember how long between applying code to res. and getting confirmation but I did get one within 2 weeks and it indicated the original deposit amount.

That would have happened to me but the other way around. She took me from CR tower to CR tower club. But the price for the club was an extra $200.

If you don't receive your confirmation a month before your trip call and ask for another one. It makes going through the guard gate and checking in a lot easier.

I had originally made my reservations with an AAA discount....two weeks later changed to the AZZ discount. Never received any paperwork for the AAA reservation but within 5 days of modifying to the AZZ rate, I received "modification" paperwork.
