We did a B2B in 2010. It's a pretty neat experience being on the boat for a couple of hours, with pretty much no one around. I took advantage of the empty laundry rooms (our B2B in '10 was a 4-night and a 5-night), while DS watched World Cup at the Goofy Pool.

P.S. Yes, everyone...I read my PM's. DVCMary sailed with us in '09 and this year...she was just off of a RCCL (gasp!) sailing and was driving with her family back to Chicago. We met up for brunch today on their way back home.

My friend, Sue, has finished her part of the FE's now I need to get my self in gear to get my part done.

Did we ever decide if we are going to do a meet and greet when we board?

I guess you are talking about the actual Fish Extender itself? It is probably too late to order one from someone that makes them, unless they have ready made, but you can try e-bay or etsy to see if someone could ship quickly. If you sew or are crafty, you can search these boards and find lots of pics of what they normally look like.

You can always use a smallish tote bag--I have seen pics of doors where I saw folks using them.

And if worse comes to worse, I have a spare one you could use. It is small, only two pockets and was given to me on my last cruise. If you want, I can bring it with me. Since we are doing b2b, I will already be on the ship when you board and I could have it hanging on your Fish when you get there. Again, it isn't big or fancy, but it gets the job done. jlmk if you would like to use it. I am more than glad to share.

I think a meet and greet would be fun and have wondered the same thing, just haven't said anything because I am not good at organizing things like that. Makes it harder when you aren't familiar with the ship to know a good spot to do it.

Any organized folks out there interested in setting this up?

I would love meet u all ... u all seem like such great people and it would be such a shame for us to have chatted on here and facebook and not in person so Im definately up for a meet and greet!!! Tell me where and when!!?!?

I also wanted to ask everyone that has cruised with children that have used the kids clubs, what are the staff like??? Do they encourage the children to mix??? Our daughter is nearly 10 but quite shy until she gets to know people ... once she is comfortable with people she is soooooo chatty!!! But I would hate for her to be sitting by herself in the kidsclubs ... i would rather she stayed with me ... she thinks i am her BFF!!!! which i am but i am her mum so would love her to find a little play mate for when we are onboard as i think it will make it so much nicer for her.

Now our son is completely different but he is 12 and just seems to click with other boys straight away, tends to make friends quite quickly which is great for him and i hope the same thing happens on the boat.

We are getting more and more excited as the days pass!!!
