Sept 8, 2011 Dream - FE final list complete

My 15 (16 when we sail) DD was miffed that my last post was all about her brothers' accomplishments. So, this post is meant to right that slight :flower3:
Jessi will be 16. She is a competitive swimmer. She does online schooling and likes math. She is looking forward to her swim meets this Summer. She is looking forward to the Royal Palace dining experience, Vibe, and the Pools!
Her favorite character is Tinkerbell. In fact, we called her Tinkerbell as a nic name, when she was smaller.
She is awesome!!!!!!!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

WAY TO GO JESSIE!!! :cheer2:
(and her brother)

DD and I are making cute magnets for trip....
Also, have matching tees for each day....
Our 1st is bought @ Target, sports Donald on front and reads "I'm on a boat!" DS and I thought was cute.....
2nd I made @ home using one of the DISigns.....2011 sign w/characters swimming inside numbers....
3rd reads, "Disney Cruise Club" and has Mickey inside red lifesaver ring.
4th is Nemo characters looking shocked and reads, "What do you MEAN we have to go home!"
We have often done homemade "vacay shirts" so kids think it's a tradition...but we didn't on our previous cruise on Magic. One DS said it wasn't right so this time.....
Well, we'll be easy to spot!

Hi All....I totally forgot to sign up for this bad boy! Throw hubby and I on the FE...

Yay for escaping without the kids! We took our 1st DCL cruise for our 10th anniversary without ours. Told them we had to test it to make sure they liked it :-) This will be our 8th overall DCL and 3rd without the "little ones" (not so little anymore at 17, 15 & 13). After all, we need to test the Dream to make sure they'll like it :thumbsup2

My mother booked this cruise quite awhile ago and needed to get a roommate before she paid off the balance. My DH and I will be joining her.
Looking forward to our first Disney cruise. I'm such a big Disney fan- I know I will love it!:lovestruc

I have been working on our FE. I am making it myself. I made some fun tee shirts too. I did NOT make magnets, because I read that the concierge doors are not metal....?

I just finished posting over at DISabilities, but I think I'll mention briefly here: This trip is due to the kindness of others. We can NOT afford a cruise vacation (or any vacation) right now. Our past year has involved having to sell my hubby's small business to a larger co., the IRS taking over our lives for 4 months, my kids dropping all extracurricular activities, etc.
My autistic daughter is so looking forward to this trip. I am doing all I can to make it as magical as I possibly can. Her favorite character is Tinkerbell, but she loves the princesses too. She is deathly afraid of sharks (even Bruce in Finding Nemo scared her), and says she won't swim in the ocean. She is a great swimmer but is scared. I am so happy that others have helped us so much this past year. As hard as it has been I feel like we've had a fairly godmother looking out for us through it all.
Can't wait to see the looks on my teens faces when we get to port canaveral!!!!!:lovestruc

"Here we go. The FE sounds like a lot of fun...so lets do one for our cruise! If you would like to participate, please PM me with the following info:

Your stateroom number
List of who is in your party including ages and gender of children
Your email address
Any special notations you want me to make regarding your travel party

I will email the FE list to all the participants at a later date. (Someone help me here - how far in advance is an appropriate time to email the final list?) I am an FE newbie - so any advice or personal experiences you want to share would be welcomed!

I'm looking forward to cruising with all of you!" (found in post #74)

I'm replying to this since I am such a newbie to these boards, I can't send a PM until I have 10 posts!

For our Alaska cruise next week, we made the cutoff at the 60 day mark. That seemed to allow everyone enough time to buy and/or make the gifts. Of course, we had a couple of "last minute stragglers"...it happens quite frequently...so, since everyone was flexible, we added them on to the list. Each cruise gang seems to do things a little differently.

For any and all silver castaway key members...today is 90 days so start making your reservations. I was able to make my reservations for both Remy and Palo for the days and times I desired. Can't wait to check them out. Been to Palo 3x but this will be my first visit to Remy. :)
