According to Cruisefish.net. 77% of our cruise is open. I am hoping that they start offering discount, OBC or kids sale FREE! What are your thoughts?

We were trying to get some friends to go but the price is higher for an inside room than what we paid for our cat 5C! And not that's not including OBB credits! crazy! This is the time when people drop out because the paid by date has not passed and there's not penalties yet! We've lost two families so far from this group!

I I would love that! We booked a 9a but would love an 8a or better. DH wants what will cost us the least. But money is nothing to me. Spend it while you can.

A Guaranteed room. Search it on dis, long ago I read a thread explaining it. It was interesting! I'd search it & put the link but I'm in the mobile version and you can't do it from here.... Or I don't know how.

I am guarantied a cat 9A or better. I paid for a 9A, don't get to pick the room. At the time of book it was the only room left with the port hole.

Ohhh. Ok! Ha ha. We have a cat 7A. Navigators verandah. Same size as reg verandas but saves lots of $$$$$. We did it on the magic too. Loved it n more Money for excursions. Hee hee

I believe it is how much is open. If you look at the cruises that are leaving soon they are at 3% where we are at 67%. Then u can see what rooms are open.

I think that's probably a safe assumption. Just couldn't find a FAQ or anything on what exactly the numbers meant. Looks like we'll have a pretty light boat which is good - less crowded pools!

I kinda doubt they'll start dishing out any special deals on our cruise tho. I wouldn't complain if they did. Is that a normal occurrence?

Since I'm trying to get my posts up to 10, here's a fun fact I learned on the Dream and I think is the same on the Fantasy. If you're outside your stateroom in the hall way and you want to know which way is forward and which is aft, look at the carpet. The carpet in the hallways have captains wheels on them with a world map in the middle. When the map is up right, you're facing forward. and aft is behind you. If the map is upsidedown, turn around

Another fun fact about the carpet (among other places on the ships). The nautical flags actually spell words. We got a "decoder" on our DVC Member Cruise back in January. We had a blast going around and "reading" things on the ship, including the carpet!

I thought I was pretty knowledgeable about these little secrets the imagineers have included on the Disney ships, but I didn't know either of these! Thanks for sharing them. I would love a copy of the decoder for the carpet flags if that's possible.

Our previous Disney cruises were the 3 day and the 4 day on the Dream. We were so busy we barely had time to look for hidden Mickeys!

When I went on the Disney Cruise site on Wed to pay off our cruise, the countdown there said 101 days. That means that today, Friday, is 99 days to go! We are now doing the double digit dance!

Our Facebook group has decided that we would be interested in setting up a Private Mixology session. From what I have read (I will be contacting DCL asap) there is a minimum of 25 and maximum of 40 participants ($15 pp). There are 8 of us that have confirmed.

Please let me know if this is something you would like to participate in with us, I think we are planning for the 2nd sea day.
