Hey - - it can be used for Disney merchandise too!!



Do you remember how much the surcharge was? I recall it being reported as a couple hundred...but I don't know for sure. At this point, I think I would just prefer the credit be transferred into my stateboard credit account. We booked in February, 2008, so I don't even know if fuel surchages were being assessed at that point. Hopefully, my TA will write back soon and let me know.

My surcharge was $111.60 per cabin (we have 2). They deducted it from our final payment.

Fuel Charge -Hey all, from what I understand, if you booked your cruise and the FC was included, then you will be paying it. If you booked it when the FC was not included, then you will not be paying it. We booked our cruise and then our TA from DU advised us that we could rebook it and have the FC removed or we could wait until we got on the ship and recvd the credit. We decided to rebook and have it removed back in October.

I have read on the main message board that some people have called disney directly and *****ed about it not right that some are paying and some are not and they actually removed the charges for them. HTH!!

We booked on last years cruise and were charged 154.00 in October 2008. I hope we can get that back..

I am driving this am to work and I get a great idea how to recognize our group. What if women/girls wear pink Tshirts and men/boys navy blue or light blue? Then we would really stand out at Sail Away! I am even thinking of personalizing the back of it with my DIS name. What do you guys think? Our group will probably wear matching girl shirts anyway.

That sounds like a good idea....I may check into getting us tshirts to wear.....I can put my DIS name on mine and the rest of the family can just have the colored shirt (dont think the guys would like Disney Sweetie on theirs!! )
