Ingrid!!!

Touche!!! After that comment and men going rampant on this post, I must go for my second cup of coffee.

Chrystina, emergency meeting is needed!! Gals we need to regroup and reel these men back and under our control asap!!!! I think we need to go on an earlier cruise without them and solidify our plans!!!

Erin, great post. What a sweet pic. I wish I could post pics without any help. That's next on my hit list of things to learn and do.

Deanna, you seem to be running off to the lake as much as I am running off to the beach. I'm hoping for one more extra weekend prior to the cruise to keep the base tan up. I may have to resort to going to a spa and hitting a tanning both, massage, nails, facial masks, etc...... See what happens when the men get a hold of the Women book. It can be quite expensive!!! :rolleyes1

Looks like a another great day to hit the beach. Tomorrow will be a bit to chilly so I have the excuse to clean and maybe start packing.

Question of the day, what kind of reading material is everyone bringing on the cruise? Other than the cliff notes from the Women book for dummies!!! Oh dearest husband and Dennis trouble is brewing!! :love2: :love2:

Well, I must get my lazy husband out of bed now. Ingrid, he must have taken some of your husband's muscle relaxers..... :rolleyes1

Didi :wizard:

Ladies ~ Now there you go misinterpreting the male psyche & intent again. :confused3 Muscle relaxants are, in fact, vitamins used by Guys to improve muscle conditions so that we may better serve :worship: our Gals. :rolleyes1

Reading materials ~ Magazines (Golf/Fishing) Books (Fantasy & a Text Book).

No DCL documents yet but NO worries - Yet!

DIDI ~ "...going to a spa and hitting a tanning both, massage, nails, facial masks, etc......" To Quote Ingrid - "Wait..how's that different than any other time? (oops..did I say that out loud?)" - Oh Well, I suspect that this is not the last time I will have to $PAY$ - It clearly is not the first!!! :rotfl2: Let me tell you one of Chrystina's  favorite threats - "BE CAREFUL, I have plastic and I KNOW how to use it". :rotfl2:

Okay - Well, I guess I will go make the coffee and wake my Sleeping Beauty!

Dennis

Oh Yeah!!! Found a couple of "most excellent" shirts for Days at Sea!!! Admittedly, they are a bit sedate, but Chrystina  would only let me buy them ONLY if I wear them at sea. Quote - "I will not be see in public with you if you wear them off the ship" :confused3 :rotfl2:

Hey!!! I thnk I have a perfect Barney's Brood "exchange", other than Hugs :grouphug: - DIGITAL PICS!!! Perhaps an On-Line Photo Album? So that everyone can upload/download pictures to be shared? Comments?

Dennis

Hey Dennis,

Nice talking with you. Didi  and I are gearing up for another trip to the waves. :thewave:

:cool1: There, this should cover that hard-to-explain numerical gap in the thread. :duck:

We simply carry on thread chatter as usual, and then slip into the UE9000 invisible mode to say anything that might accidentally raise the temperature at home. Then bada-bing, bada-boom, no more number gaps. :smooth:

I'm hoping this can keep any Woman Book excerpts from getting into the wrong hands.

I wouldn't advise getting too daring even with this method. I've found that not all software lives up to its claims. The guys who sold me the UE9000 struck me as being totally honest, so I think we can trust them.

Well, it's time to feign incompetence in some critical tasks leading up to the trip. You know: less time at the laundry, more time on the veranda with a Havana.

Wow, the ladies on this Disney cruise are smart. :flower3: They seem to be having lots of fun talking about the upcoming trip.

Best,

Bill :rotfl2:

NO Hurricane Dancers!!! Keep it up. Hurricane Maria headed back out to sea!!!

&&%%//// :teleport: Begin Transmission \\\\%%&&

Bill ~ Software update works great!!! :teeth: Advise use of Caution Code 3Az when feigning incompetence. DWs appear to be suspicious. Threat of $$$ backlash at Elevated Level. :rotfl2:

&&%%//// :teleport: End Transmission \\\\%%&&

Bill & DIDI - Play safe at the beach :cool1:

Hi everyone--

Dennis,

I would love to see a picture of your "at sea" shirt. Will it go well with your formal outfit? LOL!!!

I like the digital photo album idea :)

Becky - Shirts should go well with a Zoot Suit Tux! :cool1: I think I need to save them as a "surprise". They are actually somewhat conservative but for me, a bit "out of character". :rotfl2: My "adventurous streak" does NOT include fashions. :rotfl2: Generally speaking, I am a polo shirt (solid color) and khaki pants/shorts kind of guy. :teeth: - Dennis

Would need a little help putting a Digital Photo Album together. Limited personal experience but I don't think it should be too complicated. Sure that with a little help, we can put this together. Need a little GEEK help - David?

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

That picture project sounds great!!

Maybe we can compile photo's & video onto a 'Brood' DVD.

I like the sound of that!

David

Wow!!! Where did everybody go? We were almost on the 2nd page!!! :confused3 Hope that you are all having a great & safe Labor Day weekend.

Just put Chrystina  on a plane for Travis AFB, CA. I think she is a bit stressed that she is not headed for New Orleans. Will be looking into volunteer opportunities here in ELP today. Folks started showing up in ELP yesterday.

David - Great!!! We can talk about best way to get it together. We do labeled CD's after our annual Steelhead fishing trips. BUT I must admit, all I do is provide pictures and supplies. My Techie Expert always put the CD together in exchange for halibut. Ahh, the benefits of bartering. :rotfl2:

Well, time for some morning PT and daily chores...

signed in as Lem 'cause I'm too lazy to logout ;)

Dennis, if you're bartering fish, count me in on the Geek Squad. :teeth: Just finished taking Disneyland footage and laying in audio tracks for family's personal copy of the fireworks footage.

Fish Trading? How do I get myself into these things? :rotfl2: :confused3 :rotfl2: This is kinda like skydiving. NOT something I think I would do most days BUT then again ... :rotfl2:

Happy Monday everyone!!!

I hope everyone is having a nice, relaxing Monday!!!!

Are we there yet?!

It sure has been quiet this weekend. I've popped in several times this weekend and then finally had to resort to a game of solataire!

Well I don't think this really puts me in the category of geek squad. But I put together a powerpoint slide presentation for the wedding!..with music and everything! Ok..maybe it does'nt sound very impressive to anyone but myself, but considering it was the first time I did it, I give myself a pat on the back. Now I just have to figure out how to get the presentation from the laptop to the projector to the screen! :badpc: The groom and his best men work as computer programmers, so I may have to enlist one of them to help me.

I'll pass on the halibut though, Dennis..thanks anyways. I'm not much of a fish eater. Gosh..it should be easy to spot you now! Just look for the fish heads sticking out of the outside pockets of some luggage! :fish: Actually, I think the smell might give it away first. :rotfl:

Yeah, we are quiet this weekend....that's strange, since we usually have lots to talk about :)

Hi there, everyone! Just back from a weekend with my family

Hope everyone has had a great Labor Day weekend!

I like the photo album idea, too. Count me in and tell me what I need to do. :)

More later - :wave2:

Howdy,
We just returned from a long weekend at the lake. It was a great trip. Less boat traffic. I think the price of gas is keeping people off the lake a little more. Lots of water skiing and tubing. Yes, Didi, we go to the lake a lot of weekends. I just love it. Can't get enough.

No docs yet. I'm still waiting to do the dance.

Julie- I like the new pic. What a precious pic.

Mcentee- I got the email. Thanks. It will be completed tomorrow.

Boy the men sure have been chatty while I was gone. Those little schemers!

ErinC- Your pic of child is so very sweet! Keep the pics coming.

I don't really know how the digital photo thing would work. But would love to help if possible. I need more detail on that one.

Have a great night. Deanna

Hi Everyone,
Just back and cleaned up from a long weekend camping on our Oregon Coast,
Didi, nothing I'm sure like what you get to do. Temp Hi 60 maybe low 70's, water temp.....imagine a big bucket of ice water and you have the picture. But that didn't keep DD's out of the water.

No I can really focus on cruise,
Kids go back to school tomorrow,

Girls: isnt' it great we let the "boys" think they know soo much about women :rotfl: When infact they are completely in the dark :rotfl2: ..Hand book :rotfl: Hah.....Good luck Guys :rotfl:

Dinner's here got to go, will check back later.

Hi All,

DiDi, Bill & Patrick just left for home. I promised Di I would tell everyone about her 'Cribbage Practice'.

Cue: "Ain't no stoppin us now!"

Well, with a grand total of 1 game played Kathy holds the lead at 1 game to 0. Kathys says she beat her sister by about 20+ points.

End: "Ain't no stoppin us now!"

I was telling Bill about all of the cribbage 'smack' talk that DiDi has been doing with Dennis. Well, apparently this is news to Bill.

&&%%//// :teleport: Begin Secure Transmission \\\\%%&&
Dennis,

I confided in Bill that the only way DiDi is going to beat you is if she picks up the board and 'smacks' you with it!! :rotfl2:
&&%%//// :teleport: End Secure Transmission \\\\%%&&

We should also expect an update from DiDi in the morning regarding the Blue Mountain coffee. I had to lend her a bit until she gets to the store upon the promise that she would update us all on the taste.

Gotta help clean up after dinner & help DS12 make covers for his school books.

Does anybody else wish these last few days before the cruise would slow down? Just a little? I really enjoy the anticipation. :teeth:

C'ya...

David

I ve missed you guys but I ve been a little busy dad took a few more sezors, but this time we found out why and the sezors was the good thing, they were caused by a stroke. I had to do a lot of running for mom, because dad can't be left alone.

But on the happy note, DD turned 3 and her birthday party was great and my dad was able to come to it. School shopping is done and she starts pre school on Wednesday tomorrow is her annual check up.

I have to do my packing next weekend, hubby has drill so I can pack for all three of us.

I did make the sign for the cruise meet.

No docs yet I will call TA tomorrow just to check.

do a little more of a hurricane dance. We are already on M. So how many more can we have :confused3

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :jumping1: :jumping1: :rockband: :thewave: :jumping1: :jumping1:

O.k. full belly, feeling better.

No Doc dance here

No Hurricane dance :cheer2: :cheer2: :cool1:

Like the Photo Album Idea. But not Tech Savy, someone will have to give me instructions.

David Yes I do wish things would slow down a bit.
I remember making book covers out of brown paper bags...my dd looked at me like I was from another planet. "Yeah right mom, I'm not doing that" :confused3 Butcher paper always worked well too.

O.k. got to go back to laundry, man camping sure makes mounds of laundry :confused3

Got to go
Waiting for DiDi's morning rise report
:dog: pirate: (icons from DD)
