Well Happy Birthday to Didi on the ship. How old will you be? Is that dangerous to ask? Will you shun me from the DIS meet for asking? Okay, now who is going to lead in the happy birthday song on the cruise. Maybe we could hire the lady that is supposed to meet Mr. Giles for dinner to pop out of a cake for ya! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lovestruc Well if you need help getting the birthday candles blown out on that cake, there apparently will be plenty of Moose lemonade to squirt on those candles. :rotfl:
See ya. Deanna

:rotfl: LOL....Giles.... :rotfl2: ...rearrange the kitchen.....LOL :rotfl2: ....OHH thats GREAT!!!! Too bad my DH is 6'2". I'm the one who has to literally climb on the counters to get to our upper shelves....its quite a sight, and very hard on the knees...........that is if my whining doesnt' work...."honey will you look up there on that shelf for me?????" :rotfl:

We are booked for the Airport inn and Suites BW. We stayed there 2 years ago and really liked it, Free shuttle to and from airport, clean, newly remodled. We arrive around 9:30pm so needed something close. Dh takes the shuttle to the airport in the am to pick up our one way rental car then comes to retrieve us....

David......I'll take Tinker bell, she's one of my fave.....

Happy pre B-day Didi,

Deanna, first I "volunteer?" :confused3 to sing and now to "dance"? OHH BOY you guys are REALLY asking for it :rotfl2: I better find some rythem  :rotfl2:

kim

Deanna - Not sure about the number of tables. Ten reservations & 32 Folks or more. That would be four tables of eight but there are different sizes of families. Tried to make sure that the Families & Groups stayed together and assure that no group was split. I assumed that if there was a problem, it would be easier to sort out within the linked reservations. Yes? :earsboy:

Giles - When Chrystina  and I went on our first cruise, we were "poor as church mice" and I thought it would be a once in a lifetime event. As it was, cruising turns out to be one of the best vacation values thatg we have ever found. Other best deal we have ever found is the Disney Vacation Club. That is how we are doing this ... for the third (or fourth time)....

By the way, do you serve your Moose Lemonade warm or cold? :rolleyes1 It does appear that I may have to call back to Alaska to my supplier - BullWinkle. But isn't he from the Yukon?

Costumes for Pirate Night? Never know ...

Well, time for the sack. Took the "rented kid" desert hiking today (93-98). Besides a wide array of cacti, we came across some Whiptail Lizards and a Collared Lizard. Got a GREAT picture of the Collared Lizard. :Pinkbounc

Dennis

Hi All,

I know that DiDi's true age is posted back in the thread somewhere. Where did I come in pg30? :confused3

Since the Walsh/McEntee group numbers 7, we all like to swap around the titles for the various dwarf we most resemble at any given time. Can anybody remember them all? This may be a Mouseketeer (sp?) question. Use this tool: two S’s, two D’s, and three emotions.

Gott run... well, sleep actually. If you must know. :teeth:

David

Dress up for Pirate Night??? Not other than Hawaiian shirts and the bandana's DCL gives you. Do they give you eye patch too??? pirate:

Giles, no rich folk here either. Been saving and planning for 1 1/2 years, next Cruise probably won't be for another 2 years in 2007. We too thought first cruise would be only time......DCL got us Hook line and sinker :wizard: .

Wow group of 32 plus, I feel sorry for the other Diners... :rotfl2:

Kim- They didn't give away eyepatches in Jan, just the bandanas. They were cute though, they had a little glow-in-the -dark thing on them. I was thinking of picking up a whole bunch of eyepatches for our DIS group. I can get a ton of them at US Toy here in town. Wouldn't we look "aaarg"-y! pirate:

David - I like your hint about remembering the all of the dwarves. Or is it dwarfs? I can usually only get about 5 of them and then I start making names up.

Sounds like our dinner seating is going to be fun. I didn't realize the number was up to 32, that's great! I just can't wait for a taste of that Moose Lemonade. Maybe it will be a "drink of the day" one day on board?

Here's a little story. Ok, bear with me, it may be a bit long. About a month ago, someone dumped a noticeably pregnant cat at my sister's house. We actually think we know who did it. She fed it and it kept coming back. Anyway, she didn't want to bring it in her house because she has a new baby and all of that. So, guess who decided to take in Mommy cat? Me! That was 2 weeks ago. And on Sunday, Sophie (mommy cat) had 5 adorable kittens in our bathtub! One of them did not make it, it was so little. :sad1: But fortunately, the other 4 are doing really, really well. Now, I have about 5 or 6 weeks to find GREAT homes for these babies (and I think I already have). It is so exciting!

Well, Dennis. I think it all depends on the weather. In the wintertime, you can make an excellent moose lemonade snowcone.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would like more info anout how to make moose lemonade :)

Congrats to Julie for being the new mom of quadruplets. :earsgirl: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy:
Wow! :earseek: We are going to be a big bad group in the dining room. That sounds fun! Is anyone out there a fitness instructor or something? I just want to make sure that no one is going to not let me eat dessert every night. I need to weed out anyone that discourages dessert right now! :rotfl:
Have a great day! Deanna

Did anybody else notice EMILY taking a bee line for Grand Cayman & Cozumel?

Be Nice Emily!!

I have been watching Emily. I hope (like always) that it will putter out and not do any damage anywhere. What an active season already. :guilty:

DON"T EAT YELLOW SNOW!!! :rotfl2:

Congrats Julie :cheer2: I LOVE :goodvibes kittens, have been thinking about getting another (that would make 3) but DD11 is allergic (non the less "her" cat sleeps with her), don't want to make it worse........O.K if I live vigariously thru you?? :rotfl:

I'm doing the "No Hurricane" dance right now :cool1: .

Deanna: I agree, No dessert police allowed :sad2: . DD's and I were actually going over the menu's last night and picking our all the Desserts we want. DD11 says, "we'll just get Both".... :rotfl2: Yeah thats my girl!!! :rotfl: :goodvibes

Hi All,

I'm with you all on the "No Hurricane" dance... :cool1:  :cheer2:

I'm also in agreement with the no "Dessert Police"! I hope that I can restrain myself enough that I don't have to buy new clothes when I get home.

I'm thinking I may try to drop 5 to 10 pounds before the cruise in order to relax on the cruise. But I may just be kidding myself. I'm hoping the nervous energy kicks in around the 30 day mark.

Lastly & the reason why I posted: Can anybody reccomend a few good trip reports to read? I've decided to try planning my vacation be re-living a few peoples vacations.

Thanks.

David

P.S. Jule - Love the cats! The mom looks at lot like my Ginger (Chicken Run) who we found in the parking lot of Home Depot!

P.S.S. Cujo - I missed the puppy picture. Can you post it again?

Deanna, my age :ssst: don't tell anyone, but my DS just turned 40 this July and she's the baby in the family. I'm the oldest soooooo by September 25th I'll be :ssst: :rolleyes1 add six to that number. I'm aging well, just like a fine wine... the older I get the better I play cribbage..as long as wear my glassess. :3dglasses

Julie, I'm so happy about your additions. They must be so cute. I wish I could have another cat, but since the cashectomy with Barney I told the DS and DH one was enough. Prior to that expense we were talking about getting another Maine Coon. Not for awhile. Can you post pictures of the little furry ones?

Talking about animals, I want to be King Louie, DH loves Baloo, so he needs to be signed up for that. I guess we could call our DS Mowgli....
As for the seven dwarves, I'm Sneezy (the Ragweed is killing me), DH is Dopey, DS is Happy and since BIL is Grumpy that leaves Doc, Bashful, and Sleepy!!! Do I get more Moose Lemonade for answering them all? :cool1:

Deanna, I'm with you no dessert police!!!!! :teeth: When dessert comes around I'm asking for a taste of everything. :goodvibes I do hope they don't provide scales in the room. I'm expecting to have to bring my extra large jeans with me so that I can ride back home on the plane in comfort. :teeth: :rotfl:

Well Smilingmouse, to make the Moose Lemonade, you take the the Moose Snowcones and put them in the freezer until the hot months and then just let them melt in a nice tall glass. Of course you must serve them with a dollop of peanut butter on a plate with Moose Nuggets. :rotfl:

Lunch is over got to go.

DiDi

Kim - Yes, you can live vicariously through me with the kittens! I go in there all the time to just pick them up and kiss them! They are going to get big so quickly, so we are really enjoying them.

Desserts...YUM! My absolute favorite part of the dinners on board. I love anything with chocolate or bananas. If there is a choice that has both in it, watch out! Actually though, I think my favorite thing I ate at dinner in Jan. was the goatcheese flatbread. :cloud9: But I think I am in the minority here. I've read things on the main board where people just hated it! But, I am not a picky person at all, I'll eat just about anything!

David - Have to been to the trip reports part of this board?http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=10 I can't think of a specific trip report that I have read, but all of them are good in gaining info. I think that's a great idea that you have! By the way, I think it's great that you found your cat at Home Depot, what a fun story! I take it Ginger is calico as well?

DiDi- I posted a picture of the kittens at the top of this page. Is it just showing a box with a red "x" on it under my post? I don't know why, but my computer does that sometimes too. One is cream colored, 2 are black and one is black and white. And simply ADORABLE!!! :lovestruc

Julie, I can see your picture just fine! Maybe it's just the browser that some are using.

I got my reservations for Nativeway(swimming with the stingrays, and the tour of town) in Grand Cayman! Finally we have decided on something. I still think that we are just going to shop a little in Cozumel and maybe go to Chankanaab Park.

Hopefully the whole Emily thing is not my fault. I've been praying and praying that she would not come into the Gulf and head our way! :flower: Sooo, if she hits Grand Cayman and Cozumel, ya'll can blame it all on me! :duck: In all seriousness, I hope that she doesn't do too much damage to the area, Grand Cayman is still in recovery mode from the last storm (Ivan, I think).

David Beautiful cat. :flower:

I vote for NO "food police" at all :grouphug: . I work in a Diabetes Education office and we have a "no food police" policy, 1/2 our staff are diabetics themselves. I'm with you David, I am going to try to loose as much weight as possible, pre cruise. :cool1: ...believe me that won't be all that much :rotfl:

Julie great idea on the eye patches, I was just trying to think where I could find some. I'm bumbed I can't see our kitties. Maybe you could sneak them in your luggage

Where are you all seeing our dinner reservation linked?? I went into the Kids registration but couldn't see anything. Can you only see it when you first register them???
